We have had a bit of rain recently and it seems o.k. It did come with additional seals that go on the front and back of side rails, and also across the front of the box.
I don't think there would be much difference between the TruXedo cover with a Ford part number on it and the TruXedo branded cover. You could give TruXedo's customer service a call to see if there is any difference.
I ended up buying a TruXedo Pro X 15 soft tonneau cover that i found on Amazon...
I went a different route and added a highly reflective Canada flag to tail gate in the spot that the American flag and lightning bolt would be on the U.S. trucks.;)
I ended up buying a TruXedo Pro X 15 soft tonneau cover that i found on Amazon in their Warehouse deals section. It was in perfect condition with all of the hardware was still sealed in plastic. attached is a picture of my lightning with the cover installed and a picture of the logo.
I was in the same situation as @davehu as the Lariat i ordered was built on March 16, 2023 and is included in the recall. My dealer was not allowed to deliver the Lariat i ordered, but they had a Platinum, in the same colour, in stock that was built in April 2023 that is not included in the...
Well it looks like the Canadian Lightnings built during the same time period are also subject to this recall and delivery hold. My truck arrived at the dealer on the 17th, and I was supposed to pick it up tomorrow, June 22nd, but i had a call from my dealer today saying that they just found out...
It was shipped on June 6th, and was built during the first week after the Rouge plant was restarted in March. Im located in Calgary. Note that my Dealer has received several lightnings that were built after mine on April 11, 12, 13 and 17th that were shipped within 4-17 days after being built...
My Lariat was built on March 16th and is in transit to my dealership. It is expected to arrive sometime next week (June 21st or so). My ford pass app shows that my vehicle is included in the recall, but i live in Canada so i checked for this recall on the Transport Canada website. They don't...
I agree. I remember the @FordVideoGuy saying that ford planned to cancel all of the reservations at the end of August, that had not been converted to orders. I was surprised to see an email from Ford of Canada a few weeks ago indicating the date had been moved up to May 12. I know my dealer had...
How about adding an overdrive feature, either by software or mechanical means, to reduce power usage at highway speeds. This would in turn extend the range of the truck with out adding a larger battery and additional weight.
I would buy the ER XLT as more range in winter is worth having. Note that the extended range motors also produce more horse power (580 hp vs 452 hp) and most likely have beefier internals that will help you if you plan on towing a trailer. Other features on the extended range are dual onboard...
I have a TruXedo low pro gt soft tonneau cover on my 2011 GMC, which is 12 years old. Im very happy with it. It was easy to install, it can be rolled up quickly and secured at the front of the bed, and it can be removed in about 5 minutes for full bed access. it also has 2 cross bed supports...
I have seen the F-150 Lightning in Agat Black Metallic and an ICE F-150 in Antimatter Blue. The Antimatter Blue is actually very dark and almost appears to be black until you get closer to the vehicle. It might be a good idea to see if your dealer has a truck in both colours and compare them...
I received a Vin and a Production week from my salesman on December 5th after sending him a text to see if he had any information on my F150 Lighting order. To date I haven't received anything from Ford of Canada about my order, and My reservation date was a couple weeks after the lightning was...
Dan, These numbers are real. They are Canadian prices on the ford.ca website. I suggest you take a look at the Canadian website for yourself to verify these prices are real.
