I have found the Flo dc fast chargers to be reliable in Alberta, although the ones i have used were all 50 kw chargers.
If going from east to west PetroCanada has a nation wide charging network along the Trans Canada highway

I Agree. It looks like the auto manufacturers have all forgotten the "law of supply and demand" from their Economics 101 class back in University. I also think that they cant relate to what the average person earns and can afford to pay for a new vehicle.
Buy local, you will get better service at your local dealer if you buy it from them. You will also be supporting your local economy and the employees at your local dealership.
I have had the same problem with ice buildup on the rear bumper sensors on my GMC. it usually happens if the snow melts and drips water onto the sensors. when the water freezes it blocks the sensors causing the error messages start popping up.
I haven't driven the lightning in the snow yet as...
Lightning Pro Pricing is available on the Woodridge Ford website. The MSRP is $59,000.00 plus freight and deliver of $2295.00 on top of that. It looks like the the extended range battery is available for an additional $16,000.00. I don't know how many 2023 Pro allocations they have but i do...
I had a similar problem on my 1989 Thunderbird SC where the headlights on the right hand side of the car went out. I believe the dealer replaced the headlight control module which solved the problem.
I received my first email and app notifications yesterday from Ford indicating that they had charged my credit card shortly after returning the ccs combo plug back to the dc fast charger i was using. It looks like there is some free charging included with my vehicle as i was able to calculate...
I am not sure if Canadians receive 250 kwh of free charging with their vehicle purchase. I have done several searchs online and have not seen anything to confirm this. Maybe @Ford Motor Company can answer this question.
I have been charging at home 99% of the time since getting my Lightning and have gone on my first road trip this weekend. I have been using DC Fast Charging while away which i have started using the Ford Pass app.
Does anyone know how long it takes to see the charging costs on your credit card...
i use Woolite for Delicates in a 25 to 1 water solution to clean the leather in all of my vehicles. It was recommended in my Lexus owners manual. it seems to work well and wont damage the leather.
as for wax i have been using Turtle Wax Ice and Mothers California Gold® Spray Wax
Looks like ford has changed the front right fender for this model and possibly all 2024 lightning's. If you take a second look at this photo you will see that the fake charging port door on this fender has disappeared. I think it looks better this way.
i believe you can add on an extended warranty within the first year of ownership, but it does cost more than buying it at the time of purchase. the guys i bought my truck from wanted $4700 for a 8 year extended warranty. I decided not to buy it right now and may add it if i have any major...
It looks like the second line of your charger display has solved this mystery, as it shows that you have 246 volts coming into the unit and are pulling 46.7 amps for a total power of 11.6 kw going to your truck.
I think they decided to remove the tailgate light bar as this model will see more off-road time and abuse than a regular lightning truck. I suspect Ford doesn't want to replace damaged tailgate light bars caused by rough terrain and vibration.
The extended range lightning comes with a Ford Charge Station Pro EV charger which is a hard wired unit. It can be set up to draw different levels of current ranging for 12 to 80 amps. You can also use the mobile charger that is an option on 2023 models. It comes with a 110 volt plug and also a...
