Predictive speed control, the new update, is on my Mach e but not on my Lightning yet (never I hope). The lightning reads speed signs and is very accurate, the Mach e is doing better but the first few weeks it was reading mile marker signs as speed signs and would jump to 60 in a 40 zone, also...
I actually bought my Lightning because it had lane centering (co-pilot 360). It does take some getting used to because it has it’s quirks, the first and most prominent is how it seems to pull to the right, to stop this let the steering wheel go(on a straight road), the system will then center...
Don’t waste your time or money, there is nothing back there you need and there is no room to store anything. Been there, done that, 2022 Lightning Lariat . If you lift the bottom seat up, the seat back tilts forward to give you a little more room. I made a wire loop to catch the latch pin and...
The sync system can do that for you! https://www.ford.com/support/vehicle/explorer/2024/discover-your-ford/sync/how-do-i-use-sync-voice-commands/overview/
Ah Oh Ford, there’s a shark in the water! “South of the border in Mexico, where BYD plans to build a new production facility in the coming months.”

I think Ford is going forward with electric vehicles but has decided to do it quietly so they don’t lose their die hard ice head customers now. https://www.cnbc.com/2024/07/18/ford-canada-large-truck-production.html
Yes, my 12volt is at 87%, I just installed a dash camera and I have it in parking mode, so it's using 12volt battery to a set level. I'll probably turn parking mode off and only use it in parking lots.
I had this problem with my Mach-e, OTA stopped working at around 70% 12volt capacity, so I just kept a 12volt charger (15amps, less didn't work) until an OTA finally fixed the 12volt battery charging. You can check your 12volt charge capacity with your Ford account.
Looks like arcing from moisture, when you get a new one mount it inside or a least keep that plug end pointed down. When the unit heats then cools it's probably drawing in moisture.
I have 11,000 miles on my lightning and 20,000 miles on my last mach-e (totaled)and 250 miles on my new mach-e. I haven't had any problems with my EVs, the ride is smooth and the acceleration is something you will never experience in a ice vehicle. I've had my EVSE set up in my garage since...
When you setup the PAAK you will be prompted to enter a door code of your choosing and a start passcode of your choosing. You should also have a factory door code card that came with your manual. My problem is that I don't use the codes very often and forget what they are.
I was really starting to trust the PAAK, now after a few glitches I find myself reaching for my key fob and turning off PAAK. To bad it was really good for a few months, definitely not worth getting stranded.
