If It's the pro charger, not intended to be portable. Hardwire that sucker! If it's not the pro charger get a charger that can be hardwired, I use the ChargePoint home flex hardwired and setup for 48amps. And don't forget to do regular maintenance.
  2. Driving ICE for the 1st time in years. I don't miss it.

Having worked on my own vehicles for fifty years, not having to replace brakes every year is a major plus. I've been driving electric since 2018 and my yearly state inspections haven't shown any brake wear on the Volt I had, my Mach E or my lightning. I think the big difference is I don't...

  4. Driving ICE for the 1st time in years. I don't miss it.

I took three friends for a ride, one of them had an f-250 so I let him drive. Lots of oos, ahhs and an OMG when he stomped it to the floor and totally amazed that one pedal driving could put power back into the battery. The biggest question after the ride was "what do I need in my garage to...

Do you have the locking differential turned on? If so, turn it off. Mine does this in Sport mode at highway speeds and the vibration goes away in normal mode.

As far as using the PAAK to discharge the battery, bad idea, for...

  8. Running board coming unglued?

They come with stainless steel pins and self lubricaing bushings, maintenance says if they get noisy power wash the joints then silicone spray. I just wash mine when I wash my truck and I've never had a noisy or sticky joint. I've been putting them on my trucks since 2016. I do always...
  9. Dealer dropped Truck during Tire Rotation

When service departments only offer low wages, they can only get low wage workers.
  10. Running board coming unglued?

I like them more for getting in and out easily, as for the looks I'm the opposite, I like a clean look.
  11. Running board coming unglued?

This is my third truck that I've installed amp research on and I never had any problems in the ice, snow and salt of Pennsylvania. I have not read that any maintenance was needed in the instructions. I just wash them when the truck gets washed.
  12. Running board coming unglued?

Good reason to dump the Ford boards and get a set from Amp Research!
  13. I finally found my breaking issue with this truck. Don't read this unless you want to hate your truck too.

Your lucky you never worked with me, I wired a guys left turn signal to his horn! We had a laugh and a beer! Most OTA quirks work themselves out after one drive.
