I decided on the Geolanders. They are supposed to be excellent in the rain and dry, quiet and good economy (they weigh the same as the OEM Pirellis), good in the snow, and look decent. I was going to order them from TireRack but on a whim called the Ford dealer, as I need to bring the truck in...
I've read a ton on the K02s and decided against them. I love the way they look but ultimately I will almost never go off road and don't want to live with the extra weight (+ 11# per tire)/decreased mileage and noise. Even though people say they are fairly quiet for an AT, looking at the tread...
I'm going to jet the stock Pirelli ATRs on my Powerboost Lariat to get something better for the snow. Although I live in NorCal, where it doesn't snow, I'll be going up to Tahoe 5-10x per year, and it can be extreme there. I'm deciding between BFG K02s and Cooper AT3 4s. I realize they're...
Wireless CarPlay uses WiFi as its link. Bluetooth is the most limited, WiFi transmits more data. So I believe wireless CarPlay currently can do lossless AAC but probably not hi res 24-bit. Even 16/44 is CD quality and pretty decent for a car.
I'm looking at Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S. They are three peak rated and get good reviews. Most people say they are quiet also. Anyone have experience with them?
Dunno. I like my Powerboost but I like the new Tundra also. I think the exterior is passable, and the interiors are very nice. Though it doesnāt have BlueCruise or ProPower. Had it been out, Iād have at least looked at it.
I am changing out my OEM Pirelli Scorpion ATR 275-60/20 RWL with 7.3k miles for tires with better snow capabilities, as I'll be in Tahoe a lot of the winter. These are great tires in perfect condition, worn evenly, no curb rubs or anything. They ride very well but just won't be that great in...
I hadn't driven my truck for a week. When I started it up today, the list of Sirius presets along the bottom were populated by stations I never listen to (and actively dislike). Strangely, when I went into Browse > Rock stations, my saved preset stations were still highlighted, each with a star...
Iām pretty anal about car washing and never use the two bucket method. I use mostly Griotās products. Wash soap, microfiber wash mitt, microfiber drying towels, wheel cleaner, wheel mitt, tire dressing, interior detailer, and glass cleaner. All from Griotās. Just use a lot of water and donāt rub...
It depends on how you like to keep your cars and trucks. Be aware that driving through a brush carwash, even once, will scratch the crap out of your finish, essentially beyond repair. It won't look *bad,* but it will have swirls and surface scratches everywhere.
The next step up is hand washes...
I canāt add a Securialert schedule, but otherwise it works. I have the latest .29 version and have deleted and reinstalled. I have a case open with Ford.
Iām really looking for thoughts from people who drive their 4x4 F-150s in snow on all seasons.
My Lariat (4x4) came equipped with the Scorpion ATRs, which I think are all season and not M&S. I live in NorCal and donāt need anything more extreme for my daily driving, as it doesnāt snow here. It...
