This too shall pass! It will come, the dealers have no clue what’s going on. I pointed out the running board delaminating on a customers truck, he hadn’t heard about it before. So yea, they are clueless
AutoNation in Laurel, MD. In and out in about 90 minutes with money in my account 15 minutes after leaving. I got about 10% less going to a dealer but it was smoother, don’t have to worry about scammers or really put in any work for listing
Yea, I wasn’t surprised and didn’t give any issues about it. Just disappointed to be so close haha. Oh well, less than 24 hours now! Already sold my ICE
Ford Customer Service chat told me the time it left Flat Rock and who the carrier was. I went by dealer during the day and it hadnt arrived. Woke up Sunday to the delivered status on the tracker (no email) and went and saw it
No dice on pre-PDI delivery. They wouldn’t even let me drive the truck! I got in and activated Ford Pass after signing the paperwork so I can track it now. They said I should have it by lunch time tomorrow since PDI comes in at 9 and they need to clean it, fully charge, etc. Truck was at 90%...
Damn, with that in mind I think I would just stomach the $2,500 but that’s a personal choice. The truck is worth it but do you also have another EV truck reservation? You could always ride it out and make the final call when it comes but get their ADM in writing so they don’t increase it on you.
Yea, this makes sense. When I have groceries, I want to open the frunk to put them in and don’t think unlocking the door first makes sense from a practical stand point. I have the fob, I should be able to unlock anything. Same way I could put tailgate down on my 2017 ICE without unlocking the doors
Yea I think I read that on anther thread that you said. Problem here is they aren’t there to begin with so it’s not like I’m paying someone to stay late, they just aren’t there!
I looked at it today, it was actually pretty clean and I didn’t see any chips or dents but I get what everyone is saying, that’s why I’m hoping it’s a situation where I can get dealer tags and just drive it home, that’s all I want to do!
So here’s the situation. My truck was delivered to dealer late Saturday night. Dealer is closed Sunday but Sales is open Monday (Labor Day) while service is not. Therefore, salesman said they can’t do PDI on my truck until Tuesday!! He said I can come do the paperwork though. So my question is...
Same! Problem is, service departments are closed tomorrow so they can’t do PDI! Salesman said I could sign paperwork but can’t take it home until Tuesday! My balloon deflated big time when he told me that. Im still going to ask if I can take it home and just bring it back Tuesday morning lol...
