You’ll get a mobile charger with the truck that should work with both 110 and 240volt. If you’re going with the Sunrun system (power backup) I’d contact them. Otherwise, I’d make sure that I have a 240 volt outlet in my garage. In the short term, a dryer outlet near garage could work (if you...
Seemed strange to me that Car and Driver would have an article like this without springing for a charger. Agree there’s nothing new and I was looking for some good insights too.
Thank you. Had a great experience with Landmark Ford in Tigard. They tracked the train for me and pushed at the rail yard to get it before I took for for the Holidays. No pressure or ADM at the sale - just the usual extended maintenance pitch.
In case future PNW folks check on timing, wanted to share mine

I’ve posted this before, and actually had to dig in with my dealer before they double checked and sent me the document below. It clearly states the Heated steering wheel will be replaced at no cost. Based on the problems they seem to have had with this, I’m ok waiting until they get it right...
I’m leaning towards the Pirelli Scorpion AT3 plus as a replacement for the OEM Grabber AS tires once I get the truck. Although not a winter tire, they are reviewed well for light snow and when it does snow, I’ll either be on ploughed roads or home working remotely.
Only pain point would be...
Dealer tells me mine is in the rail yard here, so it might be available next week. Ford account info also shows delivery changing from 12/22-28 to 12/16-22. If that works out it would be about a month from build to delivery, including in that time a 4 day quality/chip hold.
I double checked the photos again - yours has different running boards. Interesting how they have the same white piece of litter by the front tire. All exiting the same day maybe!
When I saw your pic I went to my junk mail and found the same email - so thanks! Also an antimatter blue. I almost thought they were using a stock photo, but yours has a red truck behind it and mine does not. Dealer tells me it is in the rail yard here!
I got the railcar number from CS. When I called the dealer they said they couldn’t track it. I asked them if it would help if I had a railcar number and they said “yes”. Fast forward and Ford CS keeps on telling me that it’s in a rail yard in Illinois. Dealer has been sending me updates of...
It wasn’t an option when I ordered, but the dealer called me up and told me it was available. He added it on his side. Lots of people do seem to say the aftermarket ones are as good if not better.
I wouldn’t give up hope yet. You just need to beat that by one day so I’d bug your dealer to see if they can expedite any of the pieces they control (rail to car lot maybe?)
Talked to my dealer today (In Oregon). He tells me the railcar is in N. Dakota and could be here as early as 9-10 days from now. Also that normally it would take another week to get it from the railway yard, but they will watch and go pick it up as soon as they can. Not sure if it will work...
Posted this elsewhere so apologies for the duplication :Here’s what my dealer sent me after I pushed back on the heated steering wheel. Grateful to this forum for the knowledge that allowed me to dig deeper.
Not all the options will apply to your trim, or all the removals.
