You'll max out your payload before towing capacity, so I'd suggest starting there.

I went from 275/60r20 to LT285/60r20 and didn't need to recalibrate. GPS showed the OEM tires had the speedo off. The speedo now matches GPS.

One option would be to go back and get it replaced with 70%. I have xpel prime xr at 70% and the main screen stays white during the day. Just another option....

I really haven't noticed any. Maaaaybe 1 mpg. Hard to tell to be honest. With the OEM tires, GPS said the speedo was off. With these tires, the speedo now matches GPS.
