  1. 2025 F-150 Lightning Order Guide & Price List (MSRP & Invoice Pricing)

As a #1 Ford advocate, and owner of well over 30 Ford trucks, I really hope they lose their Best Selling title soon. Seems that would push that jackass in charge to get with it. Ever since I had my ā€˜22 King Ranch come in after a 17 month wait, to find a $350 credit for the massaging seats that...
  2. To the Standard Range people. Any regrets not going Extended Range?

Well, I bought an SR Lariat. Loved the truck. Unfortunately, the 270 summer mile range tanked to 160 in the winter. Driving 210 miles a day a couple times a week killed me. The only chargers enroute were 6kW, and it would take me 1-1/2 hrs to get enough juice to make it home. Tried to trade...
  3. Illinois Ford Connected Charge Station

Level 2 Charger. Sold the Lightning. Don’t need the charger anymore. Make an offer. Pickup preferred. Northern Illinois. Near 60098 zip code. May consider shipping in its original box I still have.
  4. Illinois Husky Frunk Liner

Bought new. Still like new. Put in my 2023 Lightning for a few months. Sold truck. Liner sits in garage. Has to go. Make an offer. Pickup only. Northern Illinois. Near 60098 zip code.
  5. Trading XLT SR TO ER

I just got an offer for my 2023 Lariat SR for $54k. I think I’m trading it and going back to an ICE. I LOVE the truck, but it’s just too inconvenient for my use now. I’d like to run it longer, but I don’t like the 2024 F-150, so I might need to jump on a 2023 while there are a few left.?
  6. Just took a 450 intersate road trip in a standard range lightning. Never again

You make charging station selections sound like walking down the aisles at Walmart and selecting crushed pineapple from a myriad of choices. In the Midwest, unless you are in a big city, good luck. And, if the trucks charger dictates the max rate, on a SR, is the 350kW gaining you anything...
  7. Oops, did it again... 5,300+ mile, 10 states, 11 driving days

I’m more interested in the 30+ charging events!
  8. ER getting SR range at 80%

Kinda funny. I do ratio and proportion with my truck to check the night before what range I can expect the next day. After I got my truck last year, July thru September I netted 2.8mi/kW solid. Range at 80% would hit 220 easily almost every day. 230 was not uncommon. Seeing the SR is...
  9. Trading XLT SR TO ER

I shared the same with my Lariat SR. I’m going to keep saving until I can offset my negative equity, and possibly more for a down payment, and then offload mine. I have no confidence in the EV market, especially as I rack up miles quickly. At 100k in a couple years, I can see this truck worth...
  10. Update failing again, 6.8.0, tired of this!

Personally, none of the hocus pocus worked for me. It all boiled down to replacing the 12V battery AND replacing the faulty battery module. Since then, I even got an unsolicited update during the day, outside of my scheduled day/time. I was parked at work.
  11. Update failing again, 6.8.0, tired of this!

Ford needs to get their crap together. Headlights off auto, or Brake regen manager can’t be on, or Auto hold can’t be on. Give us a break! Next we’ll need to purchase underwear emblazoned with Farley’s picture, and click our heels exactly at the time the screen in our trucks goes black prior...
  12. Trading XLT SR TO ER

My dealer checks the most recent price of what the used vehicles are crossing the auction block for. There’s just not enough used ones out there to make a good judgment call. When I’ve been going to blue book or Nada, they say information not available. Maybe that’s changed in the last couple weeks
  13. Trading XLT SR TO ER

I’ve been looking to go back to gas over my SR Lariat. I need range and would consider a ER, but last trade offer put me $10k in the hole. I should have kept my new King Ranch. If I’m going to go negative, I’ll go back to ICE. The media has blown this EV thing so far out that it’s a...
  14. Who Insures Your Lightning?

Prior to buying my lightning, I called my insurance provider, who is American Family, and they told me it would cost me $20 a month more to insure the Lightning over the standard King Ranch F150 that I had. So, $240 a year to me was no big deal. Well, cut to six months later, and the premiums...
  15. OEM Mudflap Design update (maybe?). No more drilling required

I sanded my raised letters, prepped with a solvent, and brushed on Grabber Blue I bought in a brush bottle on Amazon. Six months, winter, pressure washing…. Holding up fine.
  16. OEM Mudflap Design update (maybe?). No more drilling required

If molded, only the rear say ā€œLightningā€.
  17. OEM Mudflap Design update (maybe?). No more drilling required

These have been out for some time. I bought them last year. No drilling. Clips are very stout. You have to push them on with a tool, not bare fingers.
  18. Cheaper with Tesla App and membership? Not again...

You are all over it! I shut down the Ford app because I occasionally use Electrify America. The rate drops from $.48 per kilowatt to $.34. Now I am forced to reinstate the Ford app so I can use Tesla when I get the adapter. I’m afraid if I shut the app off again, they won’t send me my adapter.
  19. 2023 Lariat ER needs a new onboard charger

This sounds comforting. ? My 2023 SR Lariat just blew its onboard charger. I tried to charge several places with no luck. It started with my L2 charger at home. Each ā€œService Vehicle Soonā€ message was followed by a powertrain or four-wheel drive issue. Charger is on order, but now I wonder...
  20. Woke to “Charging Fault” Message.

Aaaaaaaaaand the Service Vehicle Soon message, which has appeared many times as I tried to charge in different locations. The Ford App says it’s a power train or four wheel drive issue. And I can’t CHARGE???? The funny thing is, the fix is the same fix I just had it in for. Hmmmmm.
