Why would they give dealerships such lengthy prioritization lists and then give them almost 0 allocation for MY22 only to do away with the lists for MY23? Doesn’t make sense to me
No NayNay, that is incredibly helpful and appreciated. I will communicate the fact that I may need a car in the interim so that I can hopefully get a more transparent answer. And yes, 3rd wave invites were last Thursday. I truly hope for customer’s sake there are 3 more waves of invites but I...
NayNay, how do you suggest I address my dealer? I have asked multiple times how much in allocation they’ve received so far and no dealer/manager/rep will tell me straight up. I just want an answer on the likelihood of getting a MY22 bc I may have to buy something else before being able to obtain...
That was from last week’s interview, and by the looks of it dealerships haven’t changed their practice much yet. What is “reasonable” ADM anyway? Give me MSRP, or give me death.
Don’t forget about priority list people. May bump some proportion of first-day reservation people out of full tax credit, assuming the priority people’s deliveries will occur in same time frame as everyone else that were close to the same time order-entry wise. Would find it hard to believe that...

I am arguing to never ever utilize subscription model to “unlock” features that are built into the car like it seems auto companies want to move towards. I don’t need to make a...
Exactly my point though. The cost of a recurring subscription is greater than the entirety of the repair of the subscribed feature usually after only a few years, so why would you want to pay multiples of that in the event that a feature malfunctions maybe once every 10-15 years? In addition...
These mega-companies are interested in subscription model because it results in huge recurring revenue with minimal overhead. I’ve got a 15 year old truck still driving around with pretty much every tech feature still intact (remote start, heated seats and wheel, etc). I don’t need to be charged...
Have you guys seen the recent news articles on Ford’s interests on OTA subscription services? They are catching on to the revenue generated by recurring subscription income which Tesla has somewhat pioneered. Their end goal are one-model vehicles, with all the bells and whistles, that you have...
Always back in with any vehicle that has a sh*tty turning radius (pretty much any current pickup truck) ?. Also, the difficulty of parking a truck has never limited my ability to park anywhere, ever, and I frequently park in a garage for work that legit has only compact spots
NayNay, having insider knowledge, can you comment on best way to go about submitting order/obtaining purchase order agreement/preventing dealers from marking up or throwing in bogus add-ins AFTER the order is already submitted with the dealership? Seems like they’d be inclined to add bogus...
I think time stamp and location will matter for scheduling but only to a point. Otherwise, why would their be a priority list for dealers to have a hand in bumping up select reservations?
