What was the Ford EV support phone number? Given this is all powertrain related, maybe they can help with the rental.

Alas - They replaced the BECM module, but that didn't fix the issue. Now they say it is a "fuse" in the high voltage battery - negative terminal - I read that as the HVBJB (maybe I am wrong), but I don't have an updated timeline yet.

Dealer has diagnosed it as a bad BECM. Good news is it is fully covered by warranty.

Well, just got a call. The 2nd towing company didn't get there before the garage closed, so now the pickup is 7:30 tomorrow am. Can't make this up!

We gave up waiting and just left the truck unlocked with the keys in it. Not like anyone can drive away with it. Got the OK from Ford for that.

I tried with a jump start though and still no dice. That should have given me plenty of voltage to engage the HV battery. Also, 4.5 hours now and still no tow....

Still waiting on that tow. 3.5 hours since I called Ford. Gotta love the promptness. In the meantime my wife was able to Uber to the airport, get a rental F159, driver back to us and we transferred everything over. We finished that 45 mins ago....

So...my whole truck just died on the drive home. It fai d to charge at a slow charger and when I tried to start it I got the stop safely now message. Could I have a dead / dying 12v.

Whelp, the 20 minute disconnect didn't do anything. I can also confirm that the hands free part of blue cruise is not activating and that "auto time update" will not stay set for the clock. No idea if that is related or not.

Well, I did a 2 minute disconnect and it didn't help.

Well, I only did a 20 second (or so) disconnect. I can certainly try a longer one.

Hello all, I am on a road trip with my family and the audio in the truck just stopped working. The vol power button does nothing. 2022 Lariat extended range So far I have tried turning the truck off and on, soft rebooting Sync, disconnecting the 12v battery, and pulling and replacing fuses 28...

I have no issues if the older year models can't get the upgrade because of hardware changes. That happens and is part of life. I just hope Ford is clear on the communications of that and doesn't leave us all sitting around waiting for something that will never happen.

I was seeing the same which has me interested considering I just spent ~$2,400 on repairs on cleaning for a leak.

I am out of the 3 year / 36k miles based on milage. I have an extended warranty out to 5 years / 60 but it wasn't covered.
