As I have posted somewhere, I have one of those HIS boxes on order that won’t get fulfilled until September it says. I also talked with SunRun and they said that they are prioritizing their customers first on the fulfillment of those HIS orders. I.e. If you contract through them to install it...
So frustrating as its my build week this week (blend Date of 5/12) and called SunRun and they said they could not do anything until they get my contact information from Ford. Knowing that some folks on here have not hit their build week and are still getting called by SunRun and getting people...
I believe the great Johnny Cash wrote a little something about this... " And negatory on the cost of this mow-chine there Red Ryder. You might say I went right up to the factory and picked it up, it's cheaper that way"
What I found out is that SunRun is basically delaying fulfillment of any order that is not installed through SunRun or their subcontractor. I am interested in getting the HIS installed and using their device since I have a solar install happening soon after through a different party. My interest...
Bump.
Has anyone been contacted and scheduled for installation through SunRun? I was waiting for a call from SunRun and am interested if anyone is actually getting called?
We noticed in a few other threads that this happens when you have the bedliner (that's the theory at least). That seems to be the common denominator, at least. It happened to mine as well as the week prior as well. I was in a 373 goup and then got put into a 201 group.
The date at teh bottom...
Finally able to see the 18/201 now. I think the one site (shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking#/) does weekly updates where-as the source files are updated more often.
Still same blend date and it does have a spray in liner so that may be the key to decoding the initial and then change shortly...
We have 2 places here in Washington with the Seattle area being a flat $0.10252 per KWh which is pretty low. In Central Washington area though, we are looking at $0.027 per KWh.
So while Seattle is still pretty low on energy costs nationally, Central Washington is basically dirt cheap. The best...
Or be willing to pay SunRun a $1500 "Priority" Fee... Maybe if I look at it as a "safety issue" as it would allow emergency backup power in the 6 months (probably)... Nope, just a rip off still
And then when you order it, they won't fill the order until after their customers get their orders filled. My estimate on delivery of this part is 9/2 and it was ordered at the end of March. This is the issue for me.
Yeah, I don't think it's worth the headache as I am just glad there is a number on both but I tried running in private mode, running in separate browsers, running on multiple devices, Clearing the cache... At this point, I think its probably just Ford IT messing with the boards ;) Still getting...
So I just looked again and it still shows the 373 one for me via the link to the vin directly:
Window Sticker (forddirect.com)
same thing shows via the link that now works through the tracking page:

Supposedly, SunRUn is handling installations regardless of their Solar programs in their selected states. I was told that they will still do the install in states where they don't normally operate. I suspect they are building a network of subs in those states to support these other cases. Once...
Reading through the other 5/2 chain, I would venture a guess that they build a production line and then at some point start switching out the spray in bed liners into their own lines. Hence why mine may have changed from 373 to 201 total quantities. Everyone could probably save a lot of grief by...
