It would fix one problem, but not another. Gas and diesel generators emit lots of NOx and other pollutants. LG units are better, but still worse. Before anyone mentions the pollution from power stations - I agree we have to transition to cleaner generation. - Hydro, Solar, Wind and
I wonder if they have identified an issue that occurred on a specific assembly date and have to check the ones put together near that time frame.
My blend was 1/12 and it got to my dealer 2/13. The last forecast delivery I had was 3/13. Hang in there, they may surprise you too.
The time has come, to speak of one thing - the delivery of my Lightning! :ROFLMAO: (apologies to Lewis Carrol). Good luck to everyone, there is light at the end of the tunnel, and lets hope it is your onrushing Lightning! ;)
I'm using the home delivery, so it will be Tuesday. Electronic...
You may have to push for the pricing at order confirmation - not all Ford Reps are up to speed. Search other threads for information. They have to get the pricing approved and then wait up to 45 days for Ford to credit the dealer.
Thank you, I missed that. That is good news for all who learn their Lightnings were transported toward their delivery spots. Mine sat in Nashville for 2 to 3 weeks.
Any idea where the holding lot is where this happened - Rouge Plant, or after a train trip? I hope Ford fast-tracks replacements for the 2 poor people whose trucks were involved.
It is obvious the multi-channel communication system is out of sync - I received the Complete Purchase email overnight after my Dealership received my XLT yesterday morning while the online Order Tracking said the week of March 3! Today, the online Tracker has moved to Final Preparation...
In case anyone wonders, the Ford site updated my delivery dates to 3/5 to 3/16 YESTERDAY! As others have noted: "What we've got here is a failure to communicate." Hope you got the reference.
Keep your hopes up! My dealer called and my Lightning showed up this morning and is being unloaded from the transport truck! No notice from Ford. Bolt out of the Blue!
My dates haven't changed since update of 2/3 - hoping they don't get pushed further out overnight. Has anyone received an update that moved the estimated delivery earlier after it was delayed?
Just visited my dealer and test drove their Lariat demo. SWEET! But the trade in offer on my 22 MMe isn't high enough for me to make the deal. When GM comes online next year, and Ram follows, prices should drop.
If I can get a good offer from Carmax or other, I may swing it. Otherwise...
Ford Chat confirmed my XLT is on Ramp 49 in Nashville. That may just be an unloading area for transfer from rail to transport carrier. Still giving me the March 6 latest date - 2 days after my rate lock expires. o_O
