People freak out when they see 100% isn't the epa estimate so ford changed how the GOM works so it always shows epa or close to it at 100%.
Now people freak out when it adjusts down to a more realistic number after driving a bit. This is what happened to you. It's cold. You mentioned a...
I'm starting to lose track of the list in my head, but going from a MME to a lightning felt like coming out of beta. Lightning being 1.0 and way better in every way.
My point was that you cannot use the range estimate and math it out to get your state of charge. If that's why you think you were at 82% SoC when you got back to the truck, you misunderstand how it works. Unless your modem wasn't working, the SoC you saw in fordpass was the SoC of the truck. 262...
Ive financed 3 cars through Ford Credit. No issues, but it's not exactly a huge sample size.
I think maybe all banks that aren't credit unions inherently suck.
I managed 410 miles almost exclusively driving around town. It charged to 100 after an OTA so I took the opportunity to see how far I could go. Reset trip 2 and drove as I normally would. Usually got around 3.3 mi/kwh. Charged back to 90 when I hit single digit %, so I could have pushed it to...
You probably know, but tires matter more than anything. The all seasons it comes with are documented as not being the best in snow and ice. Not the worst, but not excellent. The truck itself, when properly equipped, will be better in snowy conditions than almost anything else on the road. Don't...
The space between the wall and my mx5 is 10'6" if I park the mx5 well. It's usually more like 10'3". I'm able to back in my driveway and be straight before I hit the concrete pad of the garage and it's an easy job, especially with the cameras and sensors. If I had to back into the same space...
I did read the thread. Did you? The original owner of this exact vehicle stated that the issue he had with it was the GOM being off. The dealer probably didn't want to deal with his complaints or something and put it in the books as wipers instead of the actual issue for the return.
It's borderline unbelievable to me that he lifted the truck and put on those wheels and tires and somehow managed to get the dealer to buy it back for not hitting it's range estimate.
