Think of the frunk as another door that is locked. Just the driver door isn't enough. Pressing until you get the long beep sets the opening height, btw.

You need to be pretty close to something before it comes on automatically. 360 cam is standard on lariat, so you have it. Press the camera button on the top your screen and you can manually switch to the front cam if you're worried it's not working.

The truck will use the hvb to charge the 12v, and phantom drain on the lightning is almost non-existent. Not sure there was anything to be concerned about in the first place, but if Ford is updating it, maybe there was?

Yes, but occasionally an update causes the truck to charge to 100%. Known issue. Doesn't matter what your settings are.

I know it's only semi-related but the scheduled updates are only for the ones that make the vehicle undrivable. It installs the other ones whenever.
