When I was trying to track down a rattle, I found some info about what I think your issues is on the ICE forums.
That black plastic trim piece should snap right off. You can put some felt on a few particular spots and it stops the noise. I don't have a link, but you should be able to locate it...
Think of the frunk as another door that is locked. Just the driver door isn't enough.
Pressing until you get the long beep sets the opening height, btw.
You need to be pretty close to something before it comes on automatically. 360 cam is standard on lariat, so you have it.
Press the camera button on the top your screen and you can manually switch to the front cam if you're worried it's not working.
If you're in the MoCo area, Tint Shop 1986 in Rockville is great. Feel free to walk in there with no idea what to do and they'll walk you through it.
Usually what I do is tint the front glass to match the rears and leave the rears alone.
The truck will use the hvb to charge the 12v, and phantom drain on the lightning is almost non-existent. Not sure there was anything to be concerned about in the first place, but if Ford is updating it, maybe there was?

I've seen maybe 4 that weren't on dealer lots. Just as many R1T and I saw an R1S last week. DC metro area.
Most recently I went to the top floor of a parking garage and the only other vehicles there were another lightning and a gt500.
Oh, and on being approached about it? It's calmed down, but...
I have my truck, but a local dealer called me and left a voicemail that they had three available. A few days later I got another call and the three had increased to five. Checked the site and sure ebough, they show five. I'm familiar with the idea that most inventory is fake, and I never did...

Managed to get 1.2 on his power boost. Most of it, at least. He said he's missing some of the interface bits.
Mach e GTPE. Had it 10 months and sold it for a pretty good profit to move to the lightning. I wanted something bigger that fits my family and all our stuff better but will never daily drive another ICE. Options were slim.
