Not sure why your encountering that, I also prefer the "Driver Assistance" view and it is always what my truck starts up and displays.
Do you make use of a personal profile associated with a fob/PaaK?
I'll agree with @Heliian, this sounds like an install issue. My FCSP has been mounted outside on the side of my garage and functioning without issue for nearly two years. It's weathered heavy rain, snow, ice.
Hey Cary, are you using Capitol Ford for your service, or somewhere else in the area? I bought my ER Lariat there, but have been using Crossroads Fuquay as it's a bit more convenient. Not unhappy with them, but not tied to them just checking if there are more convenient and effective locations.
Yep, this has been my experience here in NC. Anytime I approach one of the toll readers, BC will disable and then re-enable shortly after clearing the reader.
I figured this would be touchy to post with the political climate around Kenny P (and I was hoping to avoid veering off into politics). I was more sharing for Ford having a response in the article (so rarely do companies have a near immediate and informative response) that, to me, was positive...
Texas probes four more car companies over how they collect and sell consumer data
Just saw this article. There's some direct comments from Ford now that they've been added to the fray.
If you make use of Android Auto, you should be able to interact with the Google Assistant. I regularly say,"Hey Google...: followed by whatever it is I'd like it to do: play specific music, navigate somewhere, answer a question. The only thing it won't do is interact directly with my Lightning...
Agreed. If I turn a feature on, and the truck feels it must enable subordinate features; when I turn the initial feature off, the truck should automatically disable the subordinate features it enabled. There are stretches around town where I like to use adaptive cruise control but have no...
But the GOM isn't just another percent "fuel" gauge; we've had a percent "fuel" gauge since day 1 (though only through OTAs did we get the numerical indicator) that being the right-side outer ring. Using that and your current efficiency rating (m/kWh)you can determine your distance to empty.
They do not work with or for SunRun. When I received my FCSP from SunRun I could have chosen any installer to handle the install. There was no connection to Qmerit.
You also need to keep in mind that Qmerit subs out the work to a local electrician who has been vetted by Qmerit. So if there are...
I don't find it normal without the fob. I unlock the truck every morning to close my garage door using the Home link button as I head out on my run. I never have my fob and usually see the expected distance and percentage values.
I see the 0% frequently in my truck despite also showing plenty of range. It hasn't bothered me enough to dig further.
Certainly interested to see if others report the same and have done any troubleshooting.
I've enabled this (with an authenticator app) and have encountered no issues. As a few others have indicated, on my mobile device (Android) I had it remember the device on first login and every access of FordPass has been fine (no prompting, no delays, etc).
I see the addition as a good thing...
