My '23 Lariat has always operated in this manner.

I log in. Choose "View all vehicle details" under my Lightning. In the resulting "Vehicle Checklist" I have "Software Updates" tile on which I click "View Details". That pops up an "Update Successful" window on which I click "View Releases Notes History"

The 2023 models do not bypass this issue. I had this CSP applied to my late model year '23. Buying used, I'd prefer to have open CSPs resolved. This CSP does not "fix" the batteries.

This has been discussed in 24B56 thread. For '22s, the tech is supposed to run a configurator for the 360 camera. It's in the documentation for the CSP the tech uses.

Seeing as you have a '22, you run the potential to encounter the smaller 360 camera view if the tech does not run the 360 camera configurator after the update.

I, too, have received this notification email. Have confirmed my address in my account, and will await my replacement. (Uncertain if that wait will be patiently or not).

Pulled into my driveway after a rare trip to the office and received notification of a successful update. Details showed it was ECG-24.2.5.6.2. So I'm feeling like I'm keeping up with the Joneses.

I don't think it's that the "fix" isn't reliable; I think it's that the service techs are not following the CSP bulletin "to the letter" and just doing what they feel is appropriate based on past experience.

Definitely sounds like an enjoyable trip. Wife and I got married in Key West and went back for our 25th last year. My how things have changed! i can imagine navigating Old Town in a Lightning would be challenging.
