Do you have actual data on your range needs?
Prior to buying my first BEV I had about two years of trip data recorded via the new defunct Automatic service. I was able to figure out exactly how many days during that two years I would have needed charging away from home (about 1 day per year for...
IMO everyone benefits from it except someone who was trying to be a scalper.
Ford benefits because they want to have vehicles sold for MSRP even when they have a popular product with limited supply. If Ford could make more Lightnings they would, it's bad for their relationship with the public...
That was always going to be the case. Lightning was a shortcut to market, turn the existing truck into an EV with minimal changes.
Their purpose built EV platform truck will be far more like this but even further down the road.
This is 100% normal for pre-production vehicles. There are exceptions, of course, but in short no - It's not concerning at all that nobody except for Ford/Biden has driven one.
Everyone needs hobbies I suppose.
In all of my fun cars I take similar pleasure in pursuing exactly the opposite - A 7.x mpg tank on a spreadsheet means fun times we’re had by all.
If Model 3 is any indication it will likely vary massively by insurer.
Progressive doesn't seem to have it listed yet but for comparison I just quoted a Rivian R1T @ $528/6mo. Basically maxed out coverage 500k CSL and low deductibles. 2x late 30s drivers with high credit scores in NJ.
I own and love my M3P, but Tesla the company is terrible to deal with.
As a great example of this, I came close to walking away from my car at delivery. Why? Because while they had left me a voicemail the day before telling me I owed them $4xx at pickup they surprised me with an ask for a...
Ford doesn't report F-150 numbers separately to my knowledge, I've only ever seen F-Series numbers which are F-150 as well as the super duty variants (2/3/450):

I'm on mobile so I haven't read 100% of this, but do you have batteries? That's the only situation I'm aware of in which you can continue to use a grid tied PV system during a power outage.
I have come to view the additional expense of HCOL states as the price I have to pay to have access to opportunity density. By opportunity density I mean that someone could work an entire career here in the NYC metro area and never have to move for a job.
If you can't or won't take advantage of...
I believe your phaseout is too aggressive.

It's two quarters each for the half and quarter credits so, if Ford crosses 200k in Q2...
That was answered on the livestream Q&A (in chat, not in the stream):

Your ICE math is correct. I think what you're doing on BEV math is inverting the 2.3mi/kwh that has been floating around. If you get 2.3 mi/kwh your cost per mile is your cost per kwh/2.3, not your cost per kwh*2.3. So ~$0.057/mile.
I'm one ahead of you @ Chapman.

IIRC I had the process completed about 30s after the stream started, I was working on it prior to the stream starting.
