That was always going to be the case. Lightning was a shortcut to market, turn the existing truck into an EV with minimal changes. Their purpose built EV platform truck will be far more like this but even further down the road.

Your ICE math is correct. I think what you're doing on BEV math is inverting the 2.3mi/kwh that has been floating around. If you get 2.3 mi/kwh your cost per mile is your cost per kwh/2.3, not your cost per kwh*2.3. So ~$0.057/mile.
