I was just at Discount Tire again last week when they did another free tire rotation and balance, and this is on the OEM tires rather than a replacement set that's associated with a purchase at DT with the tire certificate purchase. So DT has never tried to nickel & dime me and have always been...
I first started using EA stations back in 2017 (2 EVs ago) and while the reliability is now much better, it's still no guarantee that when you plug in that the unit will pair and start charging, which is sad and so you're right on point!
Well the Fitcamx dashcam does come in handy and was almost used to record things right up until the collision, thankfully there was enough time and room to evade the idiot. I overdubbed with some stock youtube audio as there definitely a little NSFW from my wife and me.
I have replayed it at least 30 times and can't figure it out, so strange that it seems to appear from the middle of the road rather than coming out of one of the trees...
It was 6:40am on a rural road and about 25F so it's not like someone was standing near the side of the road and threw...
Well here's another good sample from my Fitcamx, from yesterday morning's commute (trimmed down to 6 seconds for the youtube clip) - I don't know what this object was that hit my front bumper, seems to have come out of nowhere... any ideas?
I'm not aware of a button like that, and just searched the manual for ('blank','black','dim','dimming','dark') and didn't get any relevant hits... maybe it's an "undocumented feature" who knows.
Anyway, that same thing happened to me one day when the truck had about 25k miles, out of the blue I...
I received my new Ford adapter but already have an A2Z adapter that works fine for me.
Still new in box, though it looks like the FEDEX driver kicked it around a bit.
$100 plus shipping.
Your location says CA so I used '90210' as zip and there are plenty of Discount Tire stores in that part of CA, don't know if that's close to you or not.
Also when it comes to Hankook AT2 I'm not sure exactly which one as my OEMs were Goodyears, but the below looks like it may be a match...
I've had 5-10 of those type punctures over the years, the guidance that the repair shop has generally told me is that if it's within 1" of the sidewall (which appears to be the case in your pic) then it's not repairable and tire needs to be replaced.
That's not to say that some people don't...
It's here! Order 104316 (I posted yesterday it was 101346, was slightly off but I boxed the tri), and it arrived today:
I've already got an A2Z adapter and it works fine, so if anyone needs one please send me a PM and we'll work out the details.
For the OP, here's an article about one that just passed 100k miles:
https://insideevs.com/news/712417/ford-f150-lightning-high-mileage-battery-life/
Actually, I see this was already posted here in this forum, maybe with the commentary that others have recalled seeing...
I worry about that even though my truck parks inside the garage.... I found the below a few years ago when raising the hood on my wife's Equinox after it had been parked inside her mother's garage for the weekend (they used to buy corn by the bag to feed the deer out in the backyard), so those...
Order 101346 got the shipping email overnight... already have the A2Z adapter that works fine so selling the incoming one NIB as soon as it arrives.
Added: placed order 5/14/24
I didn't go that far, but when I saw this thread get started I walked out to the garage and took a look at all 4 wheels to see if "a couple lugnuts are missing" as the OP said his neighbors observed. Thankfully all of mine were fine, and I bet I wasn't the only one who walked out to give things...
