I reset it a couple times and couldn't get past it. I was able to get sunny pilot installed for now and will mess with it once I have it working to some degree.
I opted for the rush delivery, so we should be getting them around the same time.
I got the long cable from comma as well, so I just need to order a 90 degree usb c adapter from Amazon and the ferrite.
Well, the thought was there for a minute.
I plan on starting with Ferrite cores as discussed in earlier posts and move on to the harness if nothing else works.
Seems they are banking on people dealing with workarounds or dealing with the startup errors at this point. I'm really intrigued by the system, but I already have too many things to screw with in my non existent free time.
Sure, but there has to be a better way than having people buy more cables for something already over $1,000. I have no issue making my own harness, but that doesn't help produce a good end product for everyone.
I may sound ignorant by asking as I am not super familiar with canbus designs, but wouldn't that mean the issue could be fixed without the harness extension and just the resistors as it should remove the reflections? (My understanding so far is that the extension is to add the resistors and...
I wonder if there is a large amount of EMI on the lightning due to the proximity of the front drive motor and or the high voltage runs that sit almost directly under that kick panel. I can't think of another reason of why the ICE would work fine and not the lightning.
I have seen speculation...
