I've read a number of threads and articles that @Ford Motor Company cheap'd out on the seat materials in these trucks. That said, has anyone noticed site specific deterioration in the front seats? My driver seat developed stains that don't wipe away, almost like they are permanent burn marks...
I found a new-to-me DCFC at the Bellows Falls Visitors Center. 50 kW. It's in a bit of a DCFC desert so I'm sure if gets used frequently. Plus it FREE!
I agree, however this anomaly is different and I think a previous comment nailed it down. Sometimes the chimes come out of the in-dash speaker, other times it comes out of the Sync system. Something related to whether the truck put itself into deep sleep mode.
It's entirely possible I'm losing my mind, but has anyone noticed a change in the pitch of the miscellaneous chimes inside the cab? From the door open chime, to the backup obstacle alarm chime, to the "dong dong" chime notifying you of traffic on your route, they all seem to be a higher pitch...
I'm having a hard time figuring out the percieved risk. If you can open the front with the truck running just fine with no risk, why not when it's in remote start mode?
I hate being "that guy" but units matter. Kilowatts versus kilowatt-hours. Power versus energy.
And don't count on EA getting any better. They are a compliance company IMO. My own conspiracy theory is they have zero intention of fixing any crippled or down charging stations, and instead...
Does anyone else notice the semi-responsiveness of the "speed up" button on the steering wheel for the cruise control? I can't just give it a passive tap. Needs to be a very firm, very centered press in order to get the truck to respond?
Am I the only one?
If thats the only problem I face...
Pardon my ignorance, but why do people install leveling kits? What do they do and why is it advantageous to do it? All I can picture is it eliminates the rear-to-front slope of the truck. Is that it?
