  1. Ignorant Sales people amaze me

My dad -- who died suddenly in his mid 40's in 1962 from wounds infliceted in WWII -- was a car salesman when it was a job done by professionals. I'm pleased that at Bonnell Motors in Winchester MA the sales manager has (for the last 25+ years) always given me sales reps that are like my dad.
  2. Use of VeePeak OBD-II Scan Tool (OBDCheck BLE) and the Car Scanner ELM OBD2 iPhone App

Sorry to ask such a basic question. Someone recently suggested the purchase of a VeePeak OBD-II Scan Tool (OBDCheck BLE) and the Car Scanner ELM OBD2 App. How that I’ve got it installed successfully, I frankly don’t know WHAT DATA I should be looking at on a regular basis. The websites for...
  3. Road-tripping with the Tesla NACS adapter

Does anyone know when we can buy our own extension cable? Needing to find two spaces side-buy-side that are free is too risky for me; I'd rather just buy an extension and leave it in the truck.
  4. What is this yellow adapter(?) that came with my Lightning?

Did not get with May 2022 build of ER Lariat.
  5. Ford Adapter Delayed; Glad I got an A2Z

Also May to June. I'm hopeful they have a handle on this (and it will not slip again.) Want to visit family in Camden, Maine and the only way I feel comfortable doing that is if I can use the Tesla stations in Rockland Maine.
  6. @Ford

    Exactly.
  7. Charger recommendations for stand alone outside in New England

I love my ChargeStation Pro which has been installed outdoors in a wind-swept location in Maine since May, 2022.
  8. Here I sit, stuck in Park(?) [FIXED]

Just ordered. Figured if I did NOT order it, I would need it someday and regret not ordering. Thanks for the link.
  9. 100,000 Mile F-150 Lightning Dashboard Screenshot

Congratulations. And thank you for the details about your likes / usage / etc. My 22 ER Lariat was manufactured in May of 2022, but I've only gone 12k miles. In the winter, it sits in the garage of my condo (as I live in the city -- Boston -- and I can walk to most everything.) In the...
  10. Warm vs cold miles/kwh

I agree. I LOVE my Lightning, but I tell folks not to get an EV unless they have a charger at home and another one at their frequent distention (such as work or second home.) Public charging really sucks. Access to the Tesla network will be great for road trips. But not for every day (every...
  11. Warm vs cold miles/kwh

Having a home charger makes a huge difference.
  12. Beauty shots of my Lightning. New, fully forged Trex T-200 bronze wheels, ICON stage IV lowering kit, gloss black vinyl wrapped grill, other goodies.

Great. Thank you for this. One last question: Are there any items (cameras; sensors) that need to be dealt with?
  13. Got my Ford NACS adapter today.

what was your order number. Folks getting them and posting -- it would be great if you advise the the order number.
  14. "Bluecruise Maps Not Up To Date" message

I got it on my 22 ER Lariat (May 2022 build). I simply ignored it.
  15. Tesla Charging Prices - Not excited as others

Exactly how I feel. I'll only use Tesla chargers on a road trip. I have a charger in the garage of my condo in Boston, and I have the Ford Charge Station Pro at my camp in Maine. (Cost $7k to get it installed as it was quite a project to get the 200 Amp service on my dirt road.)
  16. Horrible Cup holders?

Not having any problems with my 2022 Lariat.
  17. Yay, I got an update. But...

It's not an alert. It's just there like an advertisement. Ignore it (unless you happen to want to schedule service.)
