You just cannot say $300k in income. That's at the start of the tax form. What's important is what is at the end of the tax form, namely the amount of tax you owe; you must owe $7500 in tax.
Maybe I'm just not getting it, but the "text" above the video seems to say the opposite:
Quote: "The EV tax credit doesn't work by owing money. It works by having having enough taxable income to qualify. If you W2 Federal withholding on your pay stub shows $7500 or more, you will qualify for...
Thank you. I had tried to search in the Forum for an existing thead which explained this so clearly, but I obviously didn't do a proper search. I've "cut and pasted" your advice into my phone. Thanks again.
Can you provide more details about the "new" tax rebate policy (where you do not need to owe $7,500 in tax to claim it)? Where / when did this change? Can you provide details (a link would be great.) Thank you.
Sorry to ask such a basic question, but I've got over 400 kWh in EA credit in my Ford Pass but I don't know how to use it. I assume I do NOT use it in the EA app (or am I wrong?) Can someone give step-by-step instructions on how to use the EA credit? Thank you.
I have been having this problem in the last week or so in Massachusetts and Maine on roads where it has worked flawlessly for over a year. I figured I had some setting wrong, but that's not the case. If I pull off the road, shut the truck off, and restart the truck the hands free works fine...
Thank you VERY much folks for taking the to summarize the video in text.
I flattened the box so that — when my seats are flipped up — the entire floor is a huge sleeping area for my lab. He loves it.
Thanks for the summary. Helped a lot to understand this new trim. And I agree -- the lack of the moon roof would be the thing I'd miss most. Well...also, the lack of heated steering wheel and heated front seats would be a show stopper for me also.
My first boss had a trick where -- when he was in the office interviewing a candidate live -- he'd send someone out to look inside the candidate's car to see how neat it was. If it was messy, the candidate was not hired.
Wow, that situation stinks. Ford has GOT to fix that. (And to answer your questions, 2022 built in May 2022 Never sat on the lot as I took delivery right away. 10k miles. Lariat ER.)
You state, "If you are leaving the truck for more than a day, you should put a trickle charger on the 12v battery..." That seems extreme. I leave my truck for days -- sometimes weeks -- w/o doing this and -- knock on wood -- I've not had any trouble.
The cost of installing the electrical components that would be needed to use the Lightning to power my house (with electric heat), was higher than the cost of just getting a gas generator.
