Nice brother-in-law you have there. But is he worried about you needing to top off there? Or is he worried that you might have to spend the night there?
Take the Mini Van. I have been driving from Boston to Naples ME area many times since I took delivery of my Lightning in June. But (a) it's only 140 miles and (b) I have the CSP on the camp when I get there. As you note, North of Portland is a dearth of chargers. Unrelated, I am going to...
Love your comment, in particular this phrase: "what IS different, though, is how YOU perceive what is more comfortable to your driving character - some will love one-pedal, since they drive with their foot on the pedal all the time, but many of us will prefer 'normal' mode, where releasing the...
Good: When I had the frunk open in a grocery store parking lot in Maine, a good Samaritan came over and asked if I needed a jump start (as he thought I was looking at my engine!)
Bad:,Vandilism: I had a door scratched (“keyed”) in the Brighton section of Boston; cost $1,200 to get it fixed.
A one button for 360 Degree would be nice, but needing two key depressions isn’t bad.
I agree the shifter is a waste. Dial would make more sense. I don’t know what they were thinking (as it’s currently just point-of-failure.)
My stereo is amazing. Must be a different option.

There is an easy way to see the impact on range for (a) driving fast and (b) temperature. Upload the free Chargeway app on your phone, input your vehicle type, then go to the “Trip Planner” screen. There you can adjust speed and temperature and see the impact on range. For my extended-range...
I assume you are referencing this bullet point:
Excessive DC Fast-Charging can negatively affect an all-electric vehicle’s high-voltage battery life"
I just got a message saying that my update -- which happened sometime in the last 12 hours -- inclues PAAK. And PAAK is now listed as an option on the screen. I've not tried it yet (as I'm no where near the Lariat.)
No, it's not just your last trip. It might be from "recent" trips (but I have no idea what "recent" is). Or is might be from all trips-to-date. Unsure. Sorry I don't know.
