I love all the space. Most times it's just me and my Red Lab. He get's the entire back (with the seats up and a huge pad covering the entire floor.) We took a 400 mile trip at Thanksgiving -- 4 adults and one small dog; the lab stayed home -- and everyone LOVED having all the space. I'm in...
Wish I knew that MA was cheaper than NY and CT. Every year we do the reverse trip (to your son's Boston trip), when we head at 6 AM on Thanksgiving from Boston to Princeton (and back to Boston on Saturday.) I avoid NYC, taking 84 to 684 to 287. Because the 150 was loaded with people, luggage...
When the Frunk is open in a supermarket parking lot, I've had folks come over and ask if I need a jump start. They are amazed when the see me loading it up with the groceries.
Yes, a regular hair dryer did the trick. Actually, it was my wife's Audi eTron that took a bunch of hot air to open the charging port. On the Lightning my charging port was fine. The Lightning charge port door is a much beter design than the Audi eTron door. I did need the dryer to clear...
Agree with all you said. On an earlier thread I started on this subject two months ago, folks warned that Costco would not install them. So I went to a local company -- Sullivan Tire -- and they installed them. AMAZING tires!!! AMAZING truck!!!
We did much better than I expected with the ER Lariat Lightning on our 300 Miles each way (600 miles round trip) from Boston to Princeton, NJ. I planned two stops, one at 100 miles and on at 200 miles (because there were zero high-speed chargers of any brand between the 100 Mile and 200 mile...
I solved this problem on my Lightning. Turns out in my case it was operator error on my part. I forgot that the "Navigate" option can be brought back to the screen by pressing on the top center "button" (my profile picture). Thanks for the help.
The Navigation App is suddenly missing. Does anyone know (a) what caused this and, (b) how do I fix it.
I know the app is not great but -- of all the apps -- it has (in my opinion) the best data about chargers close by. So, I'm not looking for a new / different app; I'm just looking to get...
Your comment -- "looking forward to the day whena single broken sharge station is no big deal" -- reminds me of the early days of ATM's (when there were less than 3,000 around the world.) If an ATM was broken -- and if you were counting on it to get cash, the only form of payment back in the...
