About to do my 2nd road trip in the Lightning, this one is a little trickier, mainly because of lack of charging stations between start/finish.
Several of the routes get me there quicker, but arrival is 5-9% SOC. These are the routes I've historically taken, but obviously never had to worry...
Well…not really. The truck i had prior was a 2011 Land Cruiser. Got 12mpg. Would have required me to stop twice on this trip.
So i probably added half an hour to 45 mins yes. Grabbed a coffee. Didn’t notice.
in general though i agree. Gas would’ve been easier. But i take so few of these trips...

Started from home with 100% charge, which was only 248 miles due to it being 30° (I guess).

Planning a trip on Thursday, hotel I'm staying at has Tesla chargers available. Tesla app, which I have configured with my Lightning as the EV, says compatible and available for charge.
The FordPass app doesn't even list this location as an option, shows nothing there.

I don’t know. They gave me a loaner F150 STX with 6 miles on it. Brand new. Everything inside rattles. While truck shakes with rough idle. Lurches into gear.

Truck continues to throw the drivetrain error often. And yesterday got a new one, shifter malfunction.
Made an appointment at the local dealer and I’m dropping it off there shortly for the balance of the week. Timing is good since I am out of town for business until Saturday.
