  1. Lightning Software Updates using FDRS

After completing the 12 hour process of applying updates to my truck using FDRS, I have a few notes I thought I should share. My goal was to get the IPC update that included the SOC. Initially there were quite a few updates shown, but not the IPC one. Based on prior posts in this forum that...
  2. 🙋‍♂️ What Did You Do To Your Lightning Today?

This should fix the headlights 'Auto On'. Set it to 1 for last known. Worked for me. HeadlampPosAtIgnOn_Cfg (HPAIOC) 726-74-01 xxx* xxxx xx-- 0 = HPAIOC AUTO 1 = HPAIOC LAST_KNOWN
  3. "Full View Not Available" still sucks - still not fixed.

This is listed near the bottom of the "Common" tab of Livnitup's 2021+ F-150 FORScan spreadsheet. https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/2021-f-150-forscan-list-database-spreadsheet.1578/
  4. CB Antenna Mounts?

I have found that the Comet FO4ANTNCGR mount works very well. I especially like the fact that it makes use of a factory bolt for attachment. Be sure to get the one ending in "R" for the passenger side. The modifiers guide advises against installing two way radio antennas on the drivers side...
  5. BestEvMod has a Christmas gift for you! Christmas raffle!

My favorite feature is the reactions that it causes. From the individual who thought I was a crazy person putting my groceries in the engine compartment to the confused looks when people see an F-150 at a charging station.
  6. Hardwire Grizzl-E Charger

I used Southwire 21001 for the two hot wires and Southwire LUG8-14CQ2 for the ground.
  7. 【BestEvMod】Let’s do a giveaway raffle on our Mud Flap!

Good afternoon. I got these installed over the weekend. It took about an hour. The majority of the time was spent removing one of the factory bolts on the drivers' side. That bolt's clip/nut had come loose resulting in the bolt spinning but not loosening. Once that was resolved the...
  8. 【BestEvMod】Let’s do a giveaway raffle on our Mud Flap!

Maybe I will be the lucky one.
  9. DIY: Installing Passive Entry To A 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

Thank you. I was beginning to wonder if the firmware update might still be required.
  10. DIY: Installing Passive Entry To A 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

I am trying to enable approach detection without the passive entry. Which of the forscan changes would be required to do this. I have tried several combinations without success.
  11. Lariat on the way! Favorite accessories?

This may not be as useful if you have the B&O sound, but I found it helpful to be able to fold down the driver's side rear seat. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0732VMKHM
  12. Best Seat Covers with kid and dog.

I have not tried the weathertech seat protector, but I found the pet partition works well. It has mesh in the right places to allow the rear vents to work. https://www.weathertech.com/pet-partition/
  13. F150 Lightning FORscan thread

This is exactly what I have been doing. However, the power down setting has to be set every time. I guess I should permanently disable it using forscan.
  14. F150 Lightning FORscan thread

Have you tried enabling the "Comfort Pet (CP)" option?
  15. Poll Priority Update: 22-PU0930-RBA-CHM

Which module needs to be updated, or did you just update them all with FDRS?
  16. What is the adapter needed to connect the included charging cable to the 240v connector in the bed?

I have had good luck with this adapter: https://acworks.com/products/locking-plug-adapter-rvl14301450 It is also available at Lowes: https://www.lowes.com/pd/AC-WORKS-Adapter-NEMA-L14-30P-30A-4-Prong-Plug-to-NEMA-14-50R-50A-125-250V-Connector/5013206753
  17. CSP-23B57 for High Voltage Battery Notice

Dropped mine off last Monday morning for the CSP and 10K mile service (Tire rotation). My dealer offered me a ride home. About 4 hours later they notified me that mine just needed the software update and that they would come pick me up in an hour. Overall it was a painless process.
  18. toll pass sticker issues?

My NC Quick Pass sticker is mounted approx. 4 inches to the right of the mirror mount and 6 inches below the top of the windshield (2 inches below the dark area). It has successfully read it in both NC and FL. In fact several of the tolls only reported the pass number. Hope this information...
