Do you recall what the battery temperature gauge was reading?
When I remote start, my battery temperature gage will remain slightly lower than the midpoint, and it stays that way for most of my 25 mile commute to work. When I precondition, the gauge will be dead center when getting into my...
Agreed. I have two departure times set up per day and then I go in to the app and adjust the times as needed. Inconvenient for sure, but it works most of the time for me.
Comparing this to the ICE F150, it rides like a very heavy vehicle. Almost like an ICE F150 with a half pallet of bricks in the bed! That said, I prefer it over the ICE, just saying the additional weight of the battery is very noticeable.
Lane centering and lane departure assist should both...
From what I have learned on here, when doing a departure time while being unplugged is actually nothing more than a scheduled remote start. It conditions the cabin only using the remote start settings, and in this scenario my heated wheel is always warm.
When I do a plugged in precondition I...
I had my truck at the dealer to have this issue checked out and the tech retrieved a couple of the codes for when the malfunction occurred, checked out the system, checked for any TSB’s etc, but no maintenance or repair was actually performed. They said bring it back if it continues.
I’ve preconditioned mine using the cabin setting in OFF as well as WARM but there doesn’t seem to be any difference between those settings when I get out to the truck; the air is blowing, steering wheel is warm and the seats are warm.
It seems to me as if the remote start and...
Now that it’s starting to get colder I’ve seen mine read just below the center tick mark during the initial start but within 2 seconds it jumps back to dead center.
I would definitely check out The Car Shop in Mount Holly. They ended up with the highest offer of all the places mentioned.
I got my truck from Miller Ford and they matched the Car Shop offer.
I’ve been preconditioning when plugged in as well as not plugged in. I feel like even without it plugged in the battery and motors will be closer to operating temperature rather than a cold start and driving away. Temps in the 40’s, I’m only losing a few miles of range preconditioning unplugged...
I’m disappointed that the departure settings don’t offer more customization, unless I’m missing something here.
All departure times can only be toggled on/off as a group, even though you may have many different times/days setup.
I don’t see a way to do a one-time departure that can be used for...
I’ve owned a bunch of F150s, I guess I just never really paid attention to this before, my son mentioned it. I understand how it works when the vehicle is in park and the doors unlock, but I didn’t think you should be able to just open the door while driving down the highway without first...
Once the truck is up to speed and the doors are automatically locked, one pull on the door handle will open a door.
I don’t believe there is any setting that would allow this? I selected the lock inhibit on and off and no difference.
I’ve had my truck for a week and can’t believe I’m not able to figure this one out on my own, searched some Mach E forums as well!
I have the speed limit assist turned (not relating to adaptive CC) on but when I use the slider to adjust the number, it just drops back to zero?
Thanks
I picked mine up yesterday as well! Great experience with the guys at Miller Ford in NJ too.
Hope the rest of the 7/18 group gets theirs ASAP, as this thing is really impressive!!
