I powered on last night hoping for an update, but no love. Have someone in the house on a zoom call right now, so I'll wait on hour just in case it starts a download and impacts the network in a negative way.
Well I've been just as critical as most anyone about the "Ford" presence on the forum. So I welcome someone that will interact and offer some assistance other than the canned response. Hoping for some good interaction.
Would be interesting to know the relationship or agreement with the forum...
After reading the feedback here, I read the invite email. I'm not interested for reasons others note. Maybe they are looking at selling as a 3rd party, but just put some R&D into the T3 and move forward. integrate like Tesla has and be done with it. I'm not adding anything else from...
oh Francis. Gotta love them and hate them. The one at Davis, OK on 35 is the most consistent, but it almost left me stranded once too. I make 5-6 trips to Shawnee every year.
Maybe we should see if @Jesse-Infotainment would want to join us at a meet and greet. We can sell...
He achieved Legend status long before this week. It is just the Lightning crowd is getting to see it first hand.
Y'all don't know how lucky I think I am just to live in the same metro area as he does .... just in case I were to ever need it. However the key is he repeatedly shows how he...
Crazy and interesting. Ford acknowledges they have a bad part, supplies new part and installs, however, only for a limited time. Otherwise we are sorry that we put a bad part in your truck and we aren't going to replace it.
And people want to know what there is displeasure with the legacy...
I am really sure that you do likely have a heater issue, but you know, regardless of the issue these days I suggest disconnecting the 12 v battery for 10 minutes and then reconnecting. It fixes many SW ghosts. Have no idea if it would ever help the heater.
When you are in a pickle - give all the details. There are some good guys on here and they like to help, but they need to know all the info to be able to help. Start by updating your avatar area or signature with the trim of your truck and your location. That would help anyone that might be...
Interesting and where we expect satellite would some day be. When Starlink was first announced we wondered if Tesla vehicles would be equipped, but there was no way with first generation of dishes. Now with the smaller panels that can be used on the go, we have to be a lot closer for full...
I don't think it can be justified at $1k. The Ford charger is the last one anyone would buy given the 10 most popular options. If your panel is within 20' of where you need the charger there is no way the charger and install are worth $1K. Take that cash, buy a good EVSE/charger and have...
It would simply be amazing if the truck responded consistently. With this on, my truck only recognizes and approach about 30% of the time and rarely when it is truly needed out in a dark parking lot.
I'm not sure if that is what he is thinking, it would have a ding on Tesla too, he just knows that he has such a huge lead that it will hurt the others much more than it would hurt him, so in the end he still wins.
I truly don't know the best way for incentives to work if they ever really do at...
I would disagree slightly in that Ford should have quit lolly gagging around testing the waters and just led. They had a plan, Blue Oval should be built by now. They apparently had a truck design (T3) and I would have thought they would have had a battery to go along with with it. They...
Welcome to the forum and to the Lightning. It is a good truck, and I likely don't give it enough credit. However, if any of those 7 previous EV'S were a Tesla or Rivian, etc. you might want to start to lower your expectations of the Lightnings SW and battery technology now. Plenty of...
It's hard in town with all the street lighting. 190/George Bush may be one of the best places. If I recall I think you've got to be moving faster than 35 and of course a fairly dim road and oncoming traffic.
Per the first screen shot you post, if the hotel knows what they truly have, you don't need anything. it lists the Tesla charger as a J-1772, which they have sold in the past and per the picture I would say the plug is much larger than their NACS plug, so I think you are good to go.
Tesla...
