Glare free is very cool. Something has changed recently in a SW release though. When I first enabled a couple of years back the transitions and fades were smooth and easy. Now you see pixels turning on and off. It still accomplishes the same outcome but it isn’t as smooth as it once was.

The '22's have taken a back seat to the 10.x.x release. It's only hit '23's and '24's. This was the other way around 18 months back. The '23's got nothing for a while as the '22's, got love. The last few months have caught up the newer trucks and now surpassed the '22's.

Every time you open the SW updates screen mine polls for updates. It isn't a magic button to push, but if I navigate to another screen and come back to SW Updates, it tells me it is checking. I don't know that I truly believe it, but that is what it tells me. So somedays I check that...

That button has always been useless though unless you have a SW update that needs downtime to install. Most do not.

Sounds like this could require additional hardware but they don’t mention. Crickets on backward compatibility. Ford has too many issues with SW updates to even get BC updates rolled out over the air. I’d love to be proven wrong but so far I haven’t been.

Well truly - I hope no one needs the 10 mm wrench, as it is a little tongue in cheek, just needed for when the truck needs to have that battery disconnected a few minutes. If they are needed, at least one will be handy.
