A couple of other interesting things from this thread - Ford's website still says "2023" Lightning. Why are they putting 2024 on the stickers? If they can make a future model say 2024 in 2023, why aren't they still 2023's even in 2024? Did they update the truck? The web site says 2023...
The capabilities of newer BT hearing aids is actually pretty cool. I've got a few family members that use them.
Reading through your post, I can understand your desires, but that seems to be opposite of the goal of CarPlay. CarPlay is meant to show apps on the screen and send the audio to...
The exact place that SGS says do not do it. I know they are top of the line experts and they have tools to measure electrical components, but other installers say they have no problem with grounding to the cab. There are Ford ground points back there, so I went that route. After a year of...
I'm not sure how they will do it, but it will be just the opposite. Tesla won't let 3rd parties have access until they are well proven. They won't allow the EA kind of experience on their network.
I don't think I've heard of any priority roll out to Ford and GM first. It could happen...
Tesla is ready for billing and they already do it. Download their App and set up your account. They already have Superchargers with Magic Docks. You pull up, open their app, tell them which pedestal you are at, it will activate, plug in, you charge, they bill you.
When they allow us to...
Keep in mind that most dealers will not do what that dealer did for @LUXMAN and that same dealer did for me. They are an exception, delivering some very nice customer service.
Ford will not pay their dealers to install SW updates not dictated by a recall. So this dealer invested in some...
Lightning and ICE share underpinnings. Follow the ICE and you'll be good. The wiring adapters all work.
No issue tapping into the 12v - many have done it. Sounds Good Stereo and other installers have good ICE install videos, you can follow them all the way.
Several threads around.
I put...
Another key item you need to know about most of the v4 superchargers is that right now - they are built of new the design v4 stand, but most have v3 power cabinets behind them.
I found the setting in the not "as built" section for one pedal drive. Turned that on. and looked to see what it changed in the As Built. Found it was one of the setting changes I had made for always on cameras.
We need someone to weigh in on the cameras for full time use and exactly what they changed. That is the change I made that removed my one pedal switch from the screen.
So I know Ford says better is coming with the T3 - good integration, however this is also why I keep comparing to and showing Tesla. You don't have to like Tesla to go watch a reviewers video - go watch Out Of Spec first night with the Cybertruck if nothing else. That is what a GUI and...
Just kind of like the Lightning - I'm done with buying first year vehicles, or charging adapters. I'll wait on some feedback to know how these things operate and if they will carry a decent load with no overheating and how well they plug and unplug a few times.
I've noticed a few times now I'll get in the truck and the IP will be on the "My View" menu and my stereo source will change to music on my phone. This happened yesterday. I'm starting to think and correlate this to some SW downloads or something happening from Ford.
Anyone else see this...
