Supposedly the sticker shows the higher price so that if the original person who ordered the vehicle backs out of the deal then the vehicle can be sold to a new person at the new higher price

like Rick said, any vehicle is at risk. But I do think EVs are possibly more at risk as the ICE vehicles engine when started scares them off. So typically it happens to vehicles stored unused for months or used infrequently.
Usually you don’t see the loss in the charge rate but rather in the amount of energy used compared to what was added. You add 50kWh to battery but actually used 55kwh of power from the panel.
