By November when you ordered the base MSRP was $51974 like you said, no idea why the order updated 24 hours later to pre October pricing. Sure would nice to get that extra $5000 but since the $8100 brings you basically to your original order pricing it seems the dealer is doing good.
Mine worked like this when I picked up 12/1/22.
Sticker was $56954 ($46974 plus $5000 MSRP increase, options and freight)
Sales contract was $50754 ($5000 MSRP increase removed plus an extra $1200)
NY Sales Tax (8.75) calculated on that and added in
Title, registration and doc fees added ($340)...
I'm thinking you can buy one of those retractable extension cords for $40-$50 and modify it to do the same thing. Chop the ends off and attach a clamp. (i'm not talking about using the extension cord to charge, just as a retracting cable)
You can call Ford CS and they can easily tell you if you are eligible for the $7k private offer. But if you didn't get invited to order a 2022 and then extended that invite I doubt there will be one available. It is not tied to Pro orders but tied to your personal account. But it wouldn't hurt...
Early september is when I had mine charged for tow tech and 9.6 pro power. Initially the GM claimed he couldnt do it, but to his credit he asked his boss and got it done
Exactly! he is just arguing to argue. So many of us who extended our reservation for the Pro went through all of this. Most of us got the $7k for MY 22 to 23 price increase without any problem. But the price protection on the MSRP increases from Oct 22 and Dec 22 took work but for most it...
One thing my dealer always warned me was that if I made a change to my order and if there were any prices increases since the original order these new prices would be updated on the order.
The $7000 private offer and definitely the deposit you paid will most likely be treated like a down payment and sales tax will be calculated prior. The $7000 from Ford acts like a rebate. Price protection however should be adjusted prior to sales tax.
I have heard good things about it. That is my plan to upgrade my 32 amp Lectron close to year end. Just waiting because I read my power utility may be offering Chargepoints with a hefty discount in August if you sign up for their managed plan.
As a test I was able to get the truck to power the house using a L14 30 amp 240v cord and a L14 30 amp generator inlet box. The outlet and outlet box are grounded to the truck and the ground in 10/3 wire coming from the panel is left disconnected in the outlet box. the hots and neutral from the...
That is how NY does it but only goes to book value on a used sale if the selling price looks ridiculously low. But you can sell to a family member for $1.
