My 2019 Dodge Challenger slid once. I was at my parents house shoveling their driveway. Happened sort of in slow motion - I could see it sliding and I instinctively jumped in it, started it, and got it going just before it before it slid into traffic. It was AWD and I was able to drive it up...
I have a bedrug and a cover. I left the cover open for a few months with no issues. (Well, unless you call the red and blue fuzz balls permanently imbedded in the velcro for the cover from running it through the car wash a dozen or so times an issue... but I guess that's not the actual bedrug.)...
I got these on sale and so far so good:

Just laid them in there - no clips or anchors. They fit pretty well and haven't slipped around on me. Read somewhere to lay them in the sun before instal and I think that...
They ended up replacing the middle seat belt receptacle under warranty. They also did 23B57D and and 23B70 while I was there. Annoying to first have to take it over there for an hour while they confirmed the issue (since it was under warranty, they said they couldn't order the part without...
Terribly disappointed. I had my husband watch a video of it and he wanted one sooooo bad. Thought I finally was going to get him into an EV. But no, it turns out they won't be for sale.
That was my first thought too. It is definitely the correct belt with the correct receptacle. The middle belt buckle is a different size than the outisde two. And yes, I checked if there was something in there. With kids that seemed probable. It is definitely an issue with the seat belt...
Hello! I was on carpool duty yesterday. Picked up the kids from school as usual. We spent 30 minutes at home before we were off to their activity. The girl in the middle of the back seat couldn't get her buckle to go in. I also tried it multiple times and did all of the usual stuff: turning...
This happens to me very consistently. I have to park really close to the wall in my garage. About 50 percent of the time when I start the truck and begin backing up, I get this message. It goes away once I'm out of the garage, so in my case, I don't consider it an issue: the sensor really is...
Yes, we certainly managed. I know that the infrastructure is coming, but it definitely isn't there yet! I thought I'd be fine with it, until my kids' sports schedule came out. The first event is roughly 85 miles away - don't have the exact address yet. There are 2 small towns with level 2...
Update: I'm alive!!! Yes, I made it back, all on my own battery power.
First, we decided to do our trip in reverse from what we originally planned so that we would end our circle at the fast charger we were going to backtrack to. Had some ups and downs. Got up to northern Chicago suburbs...
Getting ready to do my first public charging trip, and I definitely would have paid you $5 for these tips ;) And extra kudos for making the post entertaining!
Hmmm... The one definitely stayed on after the other lights all went out a minute or so after I locked the doors. Also, they were on, while I was driving anyway, at least 2 days after anyone had been in the back seat. I'm not sure they were on the whole time, but for sure while driving two...
Thanks to all of you for the feedback. I feel much better prepared now.
Nothing is going to help my anxiety about that last leg home though, except driving a little further out of the way to charge further south on the way out than ABRP and FordPass both have me go, which I will probably do...
Making in informational post that your reading lights have to be off in order to turn off your reading lights...
The other day I noticed both of my back seat reading lights were on while I was driving. 99% chance it was two certain children who had been sent out to clean their items out of the...
Thank you for that info!
Got my credit card set up and got a confirmation that Plug & Charge is working. And I might have literally never have figured out how to get P&C working on the road while parked at a charger. Not being sarcastic - clearly I've never been to that screen in my account...
Thank you very much! I really appreciate you taking the time to answer all of my questions. It seems a little crazy to put so much planning into a one day trip, but I guess that's where we're at right now. Worst case, I'm calling Ford to tow me home...
Thanks for the tip about those new chargers - if I can't enough charge leaving the Chicago area, those might be a good alternative. This trip will be in a couple of days, so the weather shouldn't be much of an issue, but I'm sure I'll be going up to Chicago in the winter at some point...
