Yes. That constant draw is coming from somewhere. I would definitely let the dealer service people look at it. I'm thinking it's something simple going on and hopefully a simple fix. I wouldn't rule out the 12v battery needs replacing.
Is your 12 volt battery up to proper charge? That is weird that unplugging the 12v battery "fixed" the problem. I would make sure the battery is at adequate voltage and also see if you have something that is draining your 12v battery. I would just take it to your dealer and have him look at it...
Great video, Tom! Just like always, you tell the truth, like it is and I've learned so much by watching your videos. I hope to have my Lariat ER in late January and put to use what I learn. Thanks.
PS. That moon roof shot looks beautiful in that video... I can't wait for my truck to arrive...
I hear this a lot on these Lightning boards. I live in northeast Ohio and I'll be damned if I trade comfort for a couple extra miles. I will just have to schedule an extra charge stop or two. I've heard of people driving with their sideview mirrors folded in to produce less drag. That's just...
I keep reading where people drive their Lightnings down to the wire as far as range and miles left is concerned. If I set out on a trip that I figured I could make round trip on a single charge and circumstances (weather, mountains, traffic jams etc.) impedes my expected range, I already have my...
When I test drove a 2023 Lariat a couple months ago, the sales rep said that Lightnings comes with a tracker (similar to Lojack) where you can instantly track where it's at at any time and if it were to get stolen, you can alert police and find your truck. I've never heard of this after reading...
So, they are just going to put another one on so it too can turn into an ice brick? These trucks costs way too much money to have design flaws like this. :(
