To be fair, Bluecruise 1.4 is Ford Engineers and the I'd suspect the delay is probably safety related. Tesla network integration, I'd imagine, has a healthy mix of Engineers from both teams.
Bluecruise 1.4 might also be in a holding pattern as Tesla is getting nailed for their FSD issues...
Yeah. I went back and edited my post to include the source I found it at.
The position of the person within Tesla does lend some credibility, you know she has a deadline.
It was mentioned from Tesla's Design Manager for Charging Infrastructure that the network opens up to Ford in February.
Hopefully, Ford and/or Tesla, have had these in production for awhile and they can get them out in batches quickly...
I have blocked every notification just by installing my own speakers and amp. If you don't use a load resistor in-line between the head unit and some aftermarket amps it disables all system sounds.
:)
Haw anyone had issues programming a 3rd key? I've followed all steps multiple times, no luck. My 3rd key is the same model number as the original 2 keys.
Any tips or suggestions would be fantastic.
I'm waiting for the "official" one Ford and Tesla support.
All these don't currently work with the networks.
Just curious, respectfully, why you jumped at buying this?
Here are the insturctions:
I've been able to bypass the need for a PIN by setting a routine within the Alexa App. When I say "Start my truck" Alexa has my routine saved with my PIN. She takes about 5-15 seconds (depending on whether or not you also want your truck unlocked) then responds with...
I have a Pro, 6 speaker system. I connected direct to 12v battery and a Keyloc line level converter. I installed the remote volume control knob in the steering column, near where the traditional key hole would be.
I have the JL Audio ACS110LG-TW1 installed behind the rear driver side passenger seat.

It's easy to add the camera sprayer if you are replacing your front Emblem. My 23 Pro now has a front camera sprayer, extra parts were around $30 I think.
Pro SR, haven't wished once for an ER.
The range has been more than enough for us, and I couldn't justify the amount of money it would cost for the estimated extra 90 miles (realistically probably 75ish miles). As far as towing, the ER gets you an estimated extra 45 miles.
I guess it depends...
No, and it's looking doubtful it would work with our trucks. That functionality is tied to the memory function for the seats as I recall. Those with that memory function that tried the mod found multiple issues, including, as I recall a grinding noise as the motor doesn't know where to properly...
I utilized all the existing wiring in the truck and connected the amp to the headunit. I used a Kicker keyloc to convert the speaker line to the sub.
I found a really nice fellow that made me a custom wiring harness that made the entire process simple.
