  1. Ford to Offer Complimentary Tesla Supercharger Adapter to Eligible Lightning Owners (1/31/24 Update)

To be fair, Bluecruise 1.4 is Ford Engineers and the I'd suspect the delay is probably safety related. Tesla network integration, I'd imagine, has a healthy mix of Engineers from both teams. Bluecruise 1.4 might also be in a holding pattern as Tesla is getting nailed for their FSD issues...
  2. Ford to Offer Complimentary Tesla Supercharger Adapter to Eligible Lightning Owners (1/31/24 Update)

Yeah. I went back and edited my post to include the source I found it at. The position of the person within Tesla does lend some credibility, you know she has a deadline.
  3. Ford to Offer Complimentary Tesla Supercharger Adapter to Eligible Lightning Owners (1/31/24 Update)

We can already charge at MagicDock stations for $0.47/kW and $0.35/kW with a $12.99 subscription.
  4. Ford to Offer Complimentary Tesla Supercharger Adapter to Eligible Lightning Owners (1/31/24 Update)

It was mentioned from Tesla's Design Manager for Charging Infrastructure that the network opens up to Ford in February. Hopefully, Ford and/or Tesla, have had these in production for awhile and they can get them out in batches quickly...
  5. Disabling F-150 Lightning's Beeps, Dings, Chimes, Honks, Bings, Bongs, and Dongs

I have blocked every notification just by installing my own speakers and amp. If you don't use a load resistor in-line between the head unit and some aftermarket amps it disables all system sounds. :)
  6. Issue programming a new key

I have both original key rings and have been following the directions.
  7. Issue programming a new key

Haw anyone had issues programming a 3rd key? I've followed all steps multiple times, no luck. My 3rd key is the same model number as the original 2 keys. Any tips or suggestions would be fantastic.
  8. New Android Automotive coming to 2024 models

I disagree. The Lightning is one of their flagship models, it should get this. Also, this has pictures, that is new news.

  10. Received A2Z EV (NACS to CCS) adapter today

I'm waiting for the "official" one Ford and Tesla support. All these don't currently work with the networks. Just curious, respectfully, why you jumped at buying this?
  11. Alexa voice commands from inside house + FordPass commands integration

Here are the insturctions: I've been able to bypass the need for a PIN by setting a routine within the Alexa App. When I say "Start my truck" Alexa has my routine saved with my PIN. She takes about 5-15 seconds (depending on whether or not you also want your truck unlocked) then responds with...
  12. Aftermarket Add Ons

    c) The factory spray-in bedliner is covered by the truck's regular/extended warranty and can be serviced at most Ford Dealerships
  13. Powered Subwoofer (JL Audio) fitment

I have a Pro, 6 speaker system. I connected direct to 12v battery and a Keyloc line level converter. I installed the remote volume control knob in the steering column, near where the traditional key hole would be.
  14. Powered Subwoofer (JL Audio) fitment

I have the JL Audio ACS110LG-TW1 installed behind the rear driver side passenger seat. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_13693334/JL-Audio-ACS110LG-TW1.html
  15. Front LED Ford Emblem

It's easy to add the camera sprayer if you are replacing your front Emblem. My 23 Pro now has a front camera sprayer, extra parts were around $30 I think.
  16. How To: Front Light Bar on Lightning Pro

Well done! I think the minimum requirement may be the Tow Tech Package on the Pro's.
  17. First Impressions of my 2023 Lightning Pro

I thought it was called that because of the outlets...
  18. Extended Range V.S Standard Range Battery

Pro SR, haven't wished once for an ER. The range has been more than enough for us, and I couldn't justify the amount of money it would cost for the estimated extra 90 miles (realistically probably 75ish miles). As far as towing, the ER gets you an estimated extra 45 miles. I guess it depends...
  19. F150 Lightning FORscan thread

No, and it's looking doubtful it would work with our trucks. That functionality is tied to the memory function for the seats as I recall. Those with that memory function that tried the mod found multiple issues, including, as I recall a grinding noise as the motor doesn't know where to properly...
  20. First Impressions of my 2023 Lightning Pro

I utilized all the existing wiring in the truck and connected the amp to the headunit. I used a Kicker keyloc to convert the speaker line to the sub. I found a really nice fellow that made me a custom wiring harness that made the entire process simple.
