I splurged on the Sub and got the JL Powerwedge, which fits nicely behind the back seats. I pulled all speakers and replaced with component Infinity speakers with an Infinity powered amp. The speaker upgrade was around $300 for speakers and amp.
Glad you enjoy your Pro! Audio is personal preference, I get that. I found the Pro's system to be lifeless. I upgraded all speakers, hooked them up to an amp, and added a Subwoofer and it is night and day. You should see the $3 paper cones speakers Ford puts in these base model trucks.
Ford Pass Points in exchange for the OEM ones have been great. No complaints about the rubber OEM ones.
The F-150 logo even matches the grey interior/Avalanche color.
Good luck and I hope you prove what I was told wrong. I did get my information from a very reliable source, I stopped digging into the solution once I heard that information.
Edit: I'm curious what you discover with the voltmeter.
I noticed that as well. The 22/23 refers to the year it was released. In the thread that tracks the Mach-E updates...this was one of the more recent ones.
Recieved this update on the 8th. Thought it was an old one I'd finally recieved but this seems new as I receieved it after updating everything else with FDRS. Looks like the Mach-E recently got it. I haven't Fast Charged since receiving it so I can't comment on what this does.
There's probably a reason that this is a scheduled update that should be done overnight versus on the side of the road. ?‍♂️
I've had no adverse issues FWIW. I've also noticed no changes other than some settings resetting (like brightness).
" The software on the Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM), part number PU5T-14G682-EL, will be updated to no longer store the drive mode settings from the previous ignition cycle."
If I'm reading that correctly...the drive mode staying in Sport was actually a glitch/bad logic and is...
Hmmm. I personally would hate the truck applying the parking brake everytime I parked, especially on a flat surface. My driveway is on a 6 degree incline so it does auto apply for me when I park at home. To each their own though.
