Almost certainly the colder weather that's affecting range. Check back in one year from now.
Power running boards is the one option I wish I had on my '22 Platinum. My wife's car has them. I like how they look while retracted and like the step placement while extended.
My 2¢. Google Maps in Sync does a really nice job of planning and is very accurate. The downside is you can't easily plan a trip on your phone prior to getting in the truck. ABRP has some nice features that Google Maps doesn't have. My confidence is higher using both but I'll probably eventually...
How is the snow getting in there? I live in a cold climate and have never had any issues. I can envision a situation where you might not be able to close the charge port door but I don't understand how ice and/or snow gets into the actual charge port.
Truck 1 and truck 2 are functionally the same. Buy the one in the color you like best.
I'm partial to '22s because they don't have any feature deletes. The dealership should be able to provide a window sticker to see exactly what the differences are.
Yeah, this isn't a mystery. These simultaneous parking brake/parking pawl failures only seem to occur on icy hills.
In aviation there is a condition called "braking action nil" which is exactly what it sounds like; no braking action, your directional control is limited by whatever you can do...
I figure 250 miles of range from 100%-0% in the summer and 200 miles in the winter. This is 1.9 m/kWh and 1.5 m/kWh respectively.
My estimate takes temperature and the way I drive into account but it doesn't factor wind. If you are driving 70 mph over the road with a 20 mph headwind, you will...
Is it silent most of the time? The four chimes is a seatbelt warning. If you are wearing your seatbelt while starting it should be silent.
Sometimes the seatbelt chime sounds like a 1998 Crown Vic; like a buzzer behind the dash. That's when the LVB is low. At least that's the theory.
I submit that in the aggregate, '22 and '23 buyers paid for any extra BlueCruise we got when we paid for the truck. Said another way, I bet owners of 2024 Lightnings wouldn't pay the difference between what they paid and what earlier owners paid for four years of BlueCruise.
I agree with @jetfixr1. (I'm a Jet breaker, btw. Happy "Valentine's" day?).
@mtxmiller, have you had the BMS CSP done? That seems to have taken care of most LVB issues. Also, the simple way to charge the LVB is to drive the truck or just turn off the shit down timer and leave it running in your...
Just playing the odds, you should be fine as long as the dealer has the required parts. I suggest verifying they have the parts before departing. It's certainly possible they will brick your truck but that seems like an exceedingly rare occurrence.
