Remember, you are buying the truck from your dealer, but the offer comes from Ford Motor Company. That's why your dealer won't put anything in writing.

This is pretty common knowledge. Ford had been building and shipping without scales for some time now. Was this news to you that the onboard scales delete was required? Otherwise your truck just would've never been scheduled.
