  1. Lightning in New NHTSA Full-Overlap Frontal Crash Test Video

The battery was in there. Everything was sprayed white but yes, it's there. It was an SR, they had it charged to 100% showing 230 miles of range.
  2. Trip meter failing to factor in regen energy

There is nothing wrong with your screen. You barely used any for driving. The majority of your electrical usage went elsewhere. The inverse will happen going uphill.
  3. FYI - Reading Lights Must Be Off To Turn Them Off

That is correct, they will stay on when its running but will eventually shut off to prevent the battery going flat. With some of these more tech advanced vehicles like the lightning, even leaving the door open won't kill the battery. I've actually gotten annoyed by this feature while working...
  4. Same charge rates for standard range batteries?

The MAX charge rates are different. Check out this sheet: https://media.ford.com/content/dam/fordmedia/North%20America/US/product/2022/f-150-lightning/pdf/F-150_Lightning_Tech_Specs.pdf
  5. Snow Drive Mode Request

That's the main reason for winter tires, the compounds are softer and allow for better traction below 7 degrees Celsius.
  6. FYI - Reading Lights Must Be Off To Turn Them Off

I can confirm that the reading lights do self extinguish after a few minutes there is no worry to your battery. They come back on when the door is opened or with proximity if you have the welcome lighting on. I have disabled the welcome lighting on mine.
  7. FYI - Reading Lights Must Be Off To Turn Them Off

I'm almost positive that the lights will all go out after a few (maybe 15) minutes to prevent the 12v battery from getting run down. Almost, some testing is required.
  8. Why would I need a mobile charger?

I don't think they meant the specific Ford one, just a mobile one in general. Add your vote!
  9. Why would I need a mobile charger?

Personally, I think all ev owners should have at minimum a level 1 portable charger for emergency use. I got a good deal on the ford mobile cord and keep it in the truck at all times. I use the 120v part to top up when in more remote areas and I use the 240v part to charge at my parents place...
  10. For Ontario Canada Lightning Green Plates

What? Most, if not all dealers should have got it plated for you. Sorry about your experience. Hopefully your future visits to them are smoother.
  11. For Ontario Canada Lightning Green Plates

See above post, didn't realise you weren't the op.
  12. For Ontario Canada Lightning Green Plates

Unfortunately you dealt with a moron at the service Ontario. I would go back in to the exact location and show the aforementioned moron the Ontario.ca website that lists the eligible vehicles for green plates. Surprise! It's listed ...
  13. Six nails in my tires!

Don't be so paranoid, there is a staggering amount of debris on the roads. If someone was trying to send a message then it would be way more destructive and clear that you were targeted. And yes, boxes of nails do fall out of work trucks. I have seen and I'm sure most people who've driven a...
  14. Battery structure design, debris and future rust

Fluidfilm, woolwax and other lanolin based undercoatings are available in Canada.
  15. Weird Lightning Behavior (Headlights)...

Give it a few days, there might be an update working in the background. I noticed some strange behaviour this weekend also.
  16. T3 reveal at Detroit?

Crew cab, 8' bed? There is no one size fits all "work truck". I use my lightning as a work truck. Tools in the frunk, in the bed, air compressor runs off propower, it's efficient and I can do my service call area on a full charge. My previous ice f150 was nearly identical except no power and...
  17. Unable to Lvl2 charge, DCFC is just fine

There have been some similar problems posted here. First, clear all the saved charging points and try again. If that doesn't work then the dealer will have to diagnose the problem. Probably a bad charger.
  18. Canadians: Dealer tells me FCSP not included anymore with ER battery??

Yes, once you place an order, you then register online for the included FCSP and then they send it to you in the mail. The catch is that if you unbox it and don't take delivery of the truck you have to pay full price for it. The nice thing was that I had my evse in hand the day I took delivery...
  19. Canadians: Dealer tells me FCSP not included anymore with ER battery??

Just show your dumb salesman the Ford.ca website where it specifically says that the charge station pro isincluded with ER xlt. The evse will then be shipped to you after you order. The mobile power cord is not included. Who is your dealer?
