I've now got 15.7.1 on my *&^%$# iPhone and now I do not see ANY public chargers. I have no filters selected. Have tried searching just within a mile or so of where I am (there are several dozen), all of Southern California, most of the SW US, and all of the US.
iOS version 18.4.1 on an iPhone...
I was given the $2K credit at purchase rather than the FCSP and install. I bought the FCSP from Ford and did the install in two stages. First stage was to install a 14-50 outlet so I could use the mobile charge cord. The second stage was a couple weeks later after the FCSP arrived. Removed...
A good percentage of the time that I charge my truck (not always), the Energy Added number is displaying wrong in FordPass. In the screen capture below, I should have gotten about 10KWH at that time, and the Distance Added is about right for that. However the Energy Added stops updating after...
I am VERY careful about clicking on links in E-Mail that are even the slightest bit suspicious.
With that said, I received an E-Mail that is supposed to be from Ford (but it's not) asking my to complete a survey regarding my recent purchase of a Ford vehicle. The message was actually sent from...
I had a first experience of having the J1772 cable unplugged from my truck at work today. No security, but I knew that. Fortunately for me the truck was just 1% shy of the target charge, so no big deal and I returned about 15 minutes later (after lunch as planned). This was at one of the...
I would expect that. Just a us CCS-1 users need a different adapter to go from a Tesla SuperCharger to CCS-1, than we do to go from a Tesla Destination Charger to J1772. I personally have watched my boss plug his Tesla MY into the J1772 chargers at work using an adapter.
That part I have no...
The only time I have charged at a SuperCharger when I started with a pretty low battery was plenty fast. Started at 25% and charged to 80% with an average charge rate of 151 KW and peak rate that I saw was 184 KW.
From what I recall having read here, the Lightning will max out at about 180 KW.
I also have never used the keypad. The key fob lives in my pocket (along with my other keys, but not on the keyring), so I just use the auto unlock by grabbing the handle. To lock, I either hit the lock button inside (habit from previous truck), or sometimes the lock button on the handle.
Based on the answers, it's an insane price for what you are paying for! I will let it die at the end of the subscription.
I did try the auto lane change yesterday for the first time and it did work. However it was an easy test as I turned on the turn signal when there were no conflicts.
As I said, I suspect it would, but it has several times approached either very slow or stopped traffic at full speed almost to the point of needing a semi-panic stop. The truck simply can't see far enough ahead to be comfortable about it.
That was kinda a non-answer. That answer would imply that not having a BlueCruise subscription means that everything still functions (including hands on self driving) except hands free self driving. I find that one a bit hard to believe. Is that really the case?
