You can fix the fix the 24 hour clock in FORScan. See this thread:

Clearly I do not understand what to push. I have no idea what the "map mini" button is, but you included the graphic at the left end of the search bar in your message. All that does is fill the entire screen with search options.
Is there a way to get rid of the stuff below the map that I highlighted in yellow below? I would rather see more map graphic instead of what is essentially advertisements.
I can confirm on my 2024 Flash that Bed View works at speed. As I don't have a trailer, the trailer view only gives a message something along the line of "only works with a trailer camera". The trailer hitch view works great. I use it regularly when backing into a tight spot where there is...
First of all, the commercial vehicle part on a pickup registration is no where near $1,000. Secondly, all pickups have been registered in Californin as commercial since at least the 1950s. They originally also put station wagons in that category. Police departments across the state were told...
I would agree that the the numbers don't update regularly or rationally during a charge. The percentage and charge rate seem to update reliably, but charge added and miles added are a guess. In other words, don't worry about it.
It was a bit over $1,000 when I bought mine in late February. I will have a shell on it for around 11 months of each year, but did not attempt to get a non-commercial registration on this or my previous pickup. As previously noted, put damn near anything in the bed that can in any way be...
My experience a few months ago is that the Ford website absolutely lies about inventory. When I would look at the Ford.com website it would show the same vehicles (by VIN) at every dealership in the area and NONE of then actually had those VINs nor could could they get them. I finally started...
Just for giggles and grins, I looked at the current price per KWH at the 120 stall SC station in Barstow, CA - where I expect to charge at twice on Saturday. As I type this, Tesla membership price is $0.43 and non-member price is $0.56. Let me give you a real world example.
I am going to be...
If you have a Tesla membership, you need to activate it in the Tesla app to get the membership pricing. If you don't have a Tesla membership (makes sense if you are going to use Tesla SuperChargers regularly), just plug it in and start charging.
Tim beat me to that part by seconds. :)
Good bet. In the 5 weeks I have had my Lightning, I have so far charged at 5 different Tesla SuperCharger locations (all in southern California). In all cases, I used the A2Z Typhoon Pro adapter. On the first one, I plugged the adapter into the NACS cable and then into my truck. It did not...
I have had amateur radio callsign plates on my vehicles for decades. When I attempted to apply for the ZEV sticker on the California DMV webste, the validator refused to work. I ended up calling the DMV and eventually got a tech support person who then gave me to a higher level support person...
I've seen recommendations not to use extension cords for DC fast chargers. While I will agree that the short cables at most Tesla stations are a problem, so far I have never not been able to make a cable reach.
If you do get an extension cable, I would be interested in your results.
When I bought my Lightning 5 weeks ago, I specifically wanted the 9.6KW Pro Power. As I told the sales guy, I may not use it all that often, but will definitely use it at times.
Used the front inverter just a few days later to power tools at one 2 way radio site while we were doing some...
Sort of. Most DHCP servers are smart enough to remember a device with an expired lease - at least for a while. However eventually that will likely time out, and the DHCP server will no longer remember it. Some (few) will check to see if there is a device on what it believes to be an...
For the short answer, DHCP is short for Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol. It is the process that assigns IP addresses to devices on a network. In a typical home network, the DHCP function is handled by your router (functioning as the DHCP server) - but it can be other devices. Typically...
That worked. The important part for me is that I could turn the lights off and they would be off at next startup. It appears that it is not capturing the state when you turn the truck off, but what state you left it in. The one I did not really test is if I left it in parking lights and...
