Good luck. You'll get caught in an infinite loop of the dealer not having any information and Ford also not having any information. At least from my attempts...
I chatted with Ford last night and they had zero information for me about the hold on the truck, besides a blanket statement that I already knew. Of course they say to ask my dealer for more information but my dealer hasn't even reached out about the hold in the first place so I have zero faith...
If you're like most of us, it will be left stranded in a parking lot after the rail drops it off. It may say its going by convoy, but if you aren't near michigan its going by rail.
" A stop-sale has not been issued and all F-150 Lightnings already built and at dealers are cleared for scheduled delivery. "
This is kind of irritating. So because some trucks in our build week made it to the dealer sooner than others, they can take their trucks home and not have to wait...
Nice to finally have an actual update from Ford. I litterally just chatted with Ford chat and they said there were no holds/stop shipments on my truck ?
Which is why I don't believe it's a hold. If we were all built in the same build week, why would yours be able to get by this hold? I'd have to assume we all had similar battery components.
My days haven't changed, still 3/3-3/9.
Yep. Seems to be a common trend. Some are saying ford put a stop shipment on the trucks due to an issue, but ford nor my dealer have confirmed that claim. Just frustrating to be left in the dark.
I tried to talk to the carrier but where I'm not a dealer they wouldn't talk to me. Seems odd if something is possibly wrong with the trucks they'd be left in a parking lot instead of taking them to a dealership.
