I got one email from Ford the other day, but I own two adapters.
Since they didn't say which one they were talking about, and I got both of them within a week of each other somewhere in the June-July timeframe, I can only hope they will identify which one of these they are interested in me...

Then they weren't using the correct settings. They were likely using the CCA settings for a 36AH battery instead of maxing it out like you're supposed to when doing programming. This has been discussed several times on the FMC dealer tech forum.
Not getting that BMS sensor replaced is gonna cause you more problems than it's worth in the long run. You will end up having numerous issues relating to a low 12V battery because it won't be getting recharged back up the way it's supposed to until you get the new sensor.

Regardless...the VCM II is as fast as the current Mongoose + Ford adapter...so $259 vs the $585+/- that the Mongoose costs is no small thing. Good way to get in on the updates for a cheaper price. Well spotted @shelnian !!
What FDRS has as a feature is the ability to download all the available updates by hitting the "Download all" on the top right above the list.
But there is no option to have FDRS subsequently install them all in the proper order to avoid dependency issues.
