Awww come on... how tedious could it be unless you just happen to transpose a couple of numbers every third time you call. If you do that well.... you are not alone. I messed the numbers up once and it told me It was arriving in Dallas. Another time it told me I was in New Orleans.
It may be dated info but I read a post somewhere that stated there is only one train a day into Twin Oaks. Looks like I may end up getting to my rail yard first if you get stuck in Baltimore.
20 pages behind? It's not because of you and I. I don't think we ever leave except for the occasional nap.
Baltimore is rough. Hopefully cars are already lined up just waiting on yours to make a full train to your rail yard. What was it Twin Oaks?
I think they only unload autotracks at designated auto transport hubs. I think it is possible to be moved from one car to another but I think usually at that point you'll go onto a car hauler.
You are on the train behind me. You'll probably stop in Stearns KY for a while. Mine seems to be moving pretty fast across Tenn. You may get classified in Chattanooga to another train for the trip to Hotlanta.
Oh I have been very busy. Just Work..Work...Work. oh, Did you know I can track my railcar with both CSX and NS. I can even tell you which is more accurate.
My railcar is finally making the journey across Tennessee. Hopefully my truck will be at home in the The Great State of Alabama by...
Hell... Ohio was Hell. I've learned more about classifying, flatcars, autoracks humps, flat switch, auto transport terminals and "kicking cars" than any one man should learn in 48 hrs. I made ithrough Ohio and now through Kentucky. It appears they have stopped at the Tennessee line for a few...
It's called Optimism @bobrosco !!! Get you some my friend. (I'll probably return to my negativity after it sits in Kentucky for a week or so. You won't want to be my friend then.)
Well my truck has made it to Cincinnati. I also bribed a local hotshot driver in the area to be "on call" for when it hits the yard. My truck is not sitting on the rail yard for 3 weeks. I showed him the birth picture and offered for him to be the trucks' "Godfather"
