Just went and did some testing. All testing done at the exact same speeds and at the same locations, battery SOC was within a few % for each test. The numbers are the maximum amperage returned to the battery.
At 55mph
1pd drive - 306a
1pd drive w/ sport mode - 309a
2pd drive - 327a
At 75mph...
When you can, find the opportunity to get the battery to as low of a SOC as practical and in one shot charge it to 100%.
I wouldn't worry too much about it. That number is the best guess of the BMS and a few folks have seen it change (upward) over time.
Wtf dude, NOBODY F-INF SAID IT WAS! Who cares, that wasn't the discussion. That wasn't the point. And that doesn't f-ing matter does it. The point is you didnt get 3.something mi/kwh in the same situation the op did and your average speed had SOMETHING to do with that. Good god
This, unfortunatly, was just someone trying to play a game of blocking. Sadly I was down around 50% soc.
Have not had a chance to give it the beens against anyone yet. Did boost it the other day in a speed change going from 50 to 80, and some bro truck behind me had to goose it to try abd play...
You noticed it before the 36k warranty ended, but did you report it or get it documented before the warranty expired?
There isn't a lot a dealer could do if it wasn't reported until after the warranty expired.
I generally agree but would like more punch in the 50-80 range. It is already impressive but I have noticed that accelerstion at high speeds tapers off with battery SOC.
I had a ratted out Ford Escape pull some shenanigans the other day and the lighting barely walked him at 65mph, he did have...
One thing to keep in mind: aerodynamic effects can change with speed. A shape optimized for one speed might be less effective at another.
In our truck’s case, the cab and short bed configuration matter. Ford has shown that a flat surface on the tailgate can help efficiency by giving the...
Now where is that guy who bought a bucket from Walmart so he could take a leak in the parking lot and not go into walmart...
This is a wise move by Walmart. With Tesla around here frequently being in Meijer parking lots we enter and shop while charging, it absolutely drives business.
That's only the lower side but imo within spitting distance of normal.
Tire pressure is in the green but you can likely increase efficiency a bit by going higher. I would expect by increasing tire pressure you should get close to 2.0 which is what I would expect.
Being slightly out of...
I'm think more along the lines of data analysis AI models and big data tools. With all the cross-dependencies in the as-built files there would need to be a lot of cross checking for changes in one area to changes in others.
In truth you may need a listing of options and features for each vin...
I disagree. They HAVE to limit power between the battery and the motors, if it was a direct connection to the battery, drawing as much as the pouce could handle, it would be very likely to cause a Runaway. Lithium batteries will happily give more power than they themselves can handle.
That is literally stating it is better for everyone...
It's great you like it, but I constantly use cruise and regularly coast down for various speed changes, traffic conditions, and other events. I can literally push one button on the steering wheel, that is better than having to hold the gas...
I love that you have a ton of as-built files. Do you have them on a git hub or anything similar? Members smarter than I could possibly make some fancy programs against that data.
I wish someone would clone Forscan and start including advanced features. Aside from the fact forscan v2 could be...
