This does not seem normal to me. My pedal is pleasantly firm and does not require much travel to come to a complete stop (I don't use one pedal drive).
And there is a notch in the lid so the cable can be routed outside without pinching. Works great for a "guest charger". If I recall correctly the ports dont connect the phone to the infotainmentsystem which I consider a good thing.
It used to happen to me a lot... turns out that my fidgeting with the windows buttons was triggering programming mode... I have success retrained myself not to frequently hit the window up switches anymore :)
Interesting... Maybe the VIN has an 'S' which is easy to mistake for a '5'
Its hard to believe this would have any impact on a trailer brake controller.
My lightning was the victim of rodent damage twice. Second time was the day after I got it back from the first repair so I can say that it happens fast.
That picture doesn't look like rodents to me either and I dont see how they could charge a thousand dollars to fix it.

It is not required. I find that I rarely use it as well. The only real value I get from it is the ability to start conditioning the cabin remotely (aka remote start).
I found that driving slower makes a bigger difference in cold weather. It is hard [for me] to do but 65 is much more efficient than 75 so I try to avoid the Interstate highways when range matter.
Level 1 charging would bring me back to 90% overnight most of the time for me. Not really thinking about it (and being a subscriber to bigger is better) I installed an Emporia level 2 before I brought the truck home. I have since updated that to only charge at 32 amps since it still completes...
I have had good experiences with AutoNation in White Bear. They recently changed to Apple Auto and I haven't been there after the switch yet but I am hoping its just as good or better.

I think the Lightning is under F-150 with all the ICE models.
I was concerned about that at first but I'm not certain how accurate the diagrams are. From the pictures of the of demo vehicles it appears that the mirrors extend past the body like they do on the Lightning which is 96" including mirrors.
Its all hypothetical at this point. Looking...
