  1. Brake problem?

This does not seem normal to me. My pedal is pleasantly firm and does not require much travel to come to a complete stop (I don't use one pedal drive).
  2. Cross a Lightning with a Porsche 911 ...

Hard to say if it will make any improvements to drag or efficiency but it would be an interesting look. P.S. I would rather keep my frunk space anyway
  3. Have you noticed... (lesser known features of our trucks)

And there is a notch in the lid so the cable can be routed outside without pinching. Works great for a "guest charger". If I recall correctly the ports dont connect the phone to the infotainmentsystem which I consider a good thing.
  4. Automatic windows, they go down and back up automatically, then immediately go back down halfway?

It used to happen to me a lot... turns out that my fidgeting with the windows buttons was triggering programming mode... I have success retrained myself not to frequently hit the window up switches anymore :)
  5. Lightning Snow Plow?

Agree that any plow needs to light weight and I wouldn't do commercial use. Hoping to put a homeplow on someday...
  6. Temperature 5F, 3 horn sounds, no remote start

Was a door possibly ajar? I think the remote start will fail if it cannot lock the truck.
  7. Dealer cannot install Trailer Brake Controller on 2024 PRO Standard Range

Interesting... Maybe the VIN has an 'S' which is easy to mistake for a '5' Its hard to believe this would have any impact on a trailer brake controller.
  8. "Stop safely now", 12V battery loosing charge, and rodent damage

My lightning was the victim of rodent damage twice. Second time was the day after I got it back from the first repair so I can say that it happens fast. That picture doesn't look like rodents to me either and I dont see how they could charge a thousand dollars to fix it. Comprehensive...
  9. 2025 Ford Lightning @ 4% UNDER INVOICE

Great deal from a great dealer! I bought my 2023 from them and it was by far the best new car buying experience I have ever had.
  10. Windshield fogging up in cold weather

Wow! Havent seen that stuff in 40 years but I recall that worked great on my ski goggles back then.
  11. New twist on truck nuts .....

  12. Is Ford Pass app essential? My phone is too old to install it.

It is not required. I find that I rarely use it as well. The only real value I get from it is the ability to start conditioning the cabin remotely (aka remote start).
  13. Thought on our frigid 1,300 mile trip

I found that driving slower makes a bigger difference in cold weather. It is hard [for me] to do but 65 is much more efficient than 75 so I try to avoid the Interstate highways when range matter.
  14. Rear motor replacement pic

When a sensor says an expensive part has failed always check the sensor first :) (advice I wish I took more often)
  15. More emphasis on 120V charging

Level 1 charging would bring me back to 90% overnight most of the time for me. Not really thinking about it (and being a subscriber to bigger is better) I installed an Emporia level 2 before I brought the truck home. I have since updated that to only charge at 32 amps since it still completes...
  16. Recommended Dealer for Service in Twin Cities

I have had good experiences with AutoNation in White Bear. They recently changed to Apple Auto and I haven't been there after the switch yet but I am hoping its just as good or better.
  17. Rear motor replacement pic

Old thread on service manuals: https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/f-150-lightning-service-manual.16514/ I think the Lightning is under F-150 with all the ICE models.
  18. Lightning asked to be plugged in last night because it was cold.

Mine too but usually when I get to work where I can't charge.
  19. Frunk envy

I was concerned about that at first but I'm not certain how accurate the diagrams are. From the pictures of the of demo vehicles it appears that the mirrors extend past the body like they do on the Lightning which is 96" including mirrors. Its all hypothetical at this point. Looking...
