  1. ✅ 5/16 Lightning Build Week Group

After someone activating Fordpass yesterday, I got switched to Built as of June 2! No delivery window that I know of since Canadians don't get emails.
  2. ✅ 5/16 Lightning Build Week Group

Canadian here too. Still not showing built but someone activated fordpass. Sitting in a parking lot off site (no bedliner or anything special ?).
  3. ✅ 5/16 Lightning Build Week Group

Well my activation was denied so I guess that's better than nothing.
  4. ✅ 5/16 Lightning Build Week Group

My blend date was yesterday (May 17). Modules popped this morning.
  5. Lightning Build & Price for Canada?

There are a handful of builds happening each week now for Canadian orders. My blend date was today.
  6. HIS Multiple Inverters / Larger Solar

Great idea, thanks! Will update if I find out more.
  7. HIS Multiple Inverters / Larger Solar

Not so worried about the max from the truck. I need a larger solar array for offsetting all my use and dont want a 2nd separate system. The Delta inverter is the only one we know works with the truck. Just no info as to whether they can do it in parallel with a 2nd.
  8. HIS Multiple Inverters / Larger Solar

The Delta inverter is the only inverter meant to work with the truck. I agree it wouldn't pull more than 9.6kw from the truck likely but if the solar is producing According to the spec sheet, the inverter maxes at 1.3 AC to DC. So it can handle 12.48kW DC of panels. Most inverters can actually...
  9. HIS Multiple Inverters / Larger Solar

The Delta inverter has a max PV input of 12.5kW I think. I'm planning a solar install of 20kW in an area not serviced by Sunrun. Anyone know if it will be possible to have 2 Delta 9.6kW inverters in parallel. Along with having more solar connected, the home backup could also be 19.2kW?
  10. Charge Station Pro Output...AC or DC?

It's bidirectional in that it is AC 240V to the truck and DC 400V from the truck.
  11. Charge Station Pro Output...AC or DC?

No it is not possible. The HIS inverter takes the DC from the truck and outputs 240V to the house. It will not be possible with a software upgrade.
  12. Lightning Build & Price for Canada?

Congrats! What was your order date?
  13. Lightning Build & Price for Canada?

For me driving 25,000km/yr, Hydro One rate of $0.23/kWh and gas at $1.50/L, the savings are $3,300/yr. Insurance - I expect a 10-30% increase. Towing performance - I expect a major increase when towing thanks to instant torque. Pulling onto busy roads or passing slow vehicles will be much...
  14. Charging the F-150 Lightning: Everything You Need To Know [Video]

It looks like the Charge Station Pro has DC ports for DC out of the battery to the house, in turn requiring an inverter at the house. This doesn't make logical sense to me since the truck already has 30A 240V AC in the box. I have a feeling connecting the V2H through the charge station pro...
  15. Canada Lightning Thread ??

My dealer just told me it looks like it will go into production in May and delivery in Fall.
  16. Home solar pricing and options?

Should also note that SMART program is paid over a 10 year period. This means you pay $32k or $50k up front. Then next tax season, you get 26% back plus $1,000 state rebate. Then over the next 10 years you get paid the incentives. It's not like you only pay $11k upfront. That is your Net Cost...
  17. Home solar pricing and options?

I sell solar in MA. Best state for incentives, especially with batteries. Note that in MA if you go over 20kWh of battery storage, there can be additional fire protection required depending on the local department. This can add significant costs (separate battery room with sprinklers and 5/8...
  18. Canada Lightning Thread ??

I don't think CDN dealers can actually place orders with Ford yet. I was going back and forth with my dealer yesterday but given no real info. Now when I log into my account though, the reservation page has changed to the bottom of the attached image.
