This is where the Generlink BPTM would be ideal. Just plug into the external power meter on the house. TESCO has one that works with the Lightning. But won't sell them to outside of PG&E customers. And still no word from GENERLINK. Sheesh! What a mess.
So, with the McGaughy lowering rear spring mount. It dropped the rear 1.5 inches. Better, but I think just a little more would be nice! Went to get an alignment today. Some shops are still not able to do the Lightning! NTB you listening? Just eyeballing Camber should be ok. Toe appears in a...
So I installed the McGaughy's kit this morning. Lowered the rear 1.5". Looks way better. I'll post some pics tomorrow after I get the alignment checked. Just eye balling it. Doesn't look like I'll need the camber kit .
Latest update. Haven't heard anything from TESCO, now my Electric company is telling me this style Transfer switch is NOT approved? So back to the drawing board. Thought this was going to be easy!
On the recycling side. I saw a video a few years back. The company was taking used EV packs and using multiples to power off grid high rise buildings. At night the high-rise buildings would disconnect from the grid. Used the battery packs for AC and lighting overnight. Then switch back to solar...
I'm a gear head from way back. 60 years old now. I have had some pretty cool cars over the years. Can honestly say that I actually look forward to driving this truck every day. Luckily no problems since I purchased this 23 Platinum. Bought it used. Saved a ton of $$ . Coming from my last car a...
Seems the results are very random. I don't drive this truck easy. I put my foot in it all the time. Drive it like I stole it ! I would say I am pretty aggressive.
Yeah, just took my 22's with Grabbers off the truck today. 32,000 on them and have decent tread left. Lowest was 6/32 avg 7/32. Not bad at all. Rotation is the key .
Well I can say in Illinois it has been over 98° with high humidity. And the truck has never left the mid lines of battery or motor temp. And I have the AC running all the time.
I have one also. Just remember to remove it if you go through a car wash with the spinning brushes. Had mine ripped off last week. Broke one of the tabs . Had to buy a replacement from Snap Plate. But they will send you a big discount to purchase just the mount. Good company. I got 75 bucks off...
Well, so far haven't heard from Tesco.
But PG&E emailed me and said . No extra meters for sale. Only have enough for California residents in Fire Zones. Now trying to backdoor them . Reached out to my electric company too see if they can buy them through Tesco. So far no Bueno.
From what I have seen . Tesco

Well from what I gathered; this cord will not fit the Generlink. Lock is different. So, I sent an email to TESCO about how to go about purchasing their BPTM. Maybe my electric company in Southern Illinois, which has approved the Generlink will allow the TESCO model? We shall see, hopefully a...
