  1. What to do about persistent RFA and ACM

For a few months now FDRS shows updates for ACM and RFA even though I have successfully installed them a few times. As other have mentioned they never leave your list of updates. Does anyone have any idea of how to get past this. Would a PMI of the module without changing it out help?
  2. New BlueCruise Version 1.4 - Rollout IPMA-24.204.10.9

Early Access Program. If you can get into it you supposedly get early release software and in-turn you fill out a survey.
  3. New BlueCruise Version 1.4 - Rollout IPMA-24.204.10.9

Yes I got the front sensor CSP originally when it first came out outside of the CSP and the dealer did the updates without being on a power supply and toasted my 12 volt battery. So they ended up replacing it. Last month I used FDRS and updated all of my additional modules that said needed...
  4. New BlueCruise Version 1.4 - Rollout IPMA-24.204.10.9

Not on EAP and I have not had any updates since last fall. Today BC1.4 came in but when I manually installed it, it said my battery was too low. Sigh. I put it on my power supply I use with FDRS (High Amp) and it went through. Seriously, this weak 12volt battery is getting OLD very fast. I hate...
  5. Apple iOS 18.4 will finally recognize Tesla superchargers in navigation

I am sure others will chime in but I have a 400+ mile trip this Saturday and will report back if nobody has.
  6. Apple iOS 18.4 will finally recognize Tesla superchargers in navigation

I am away and can’t check my vehicle, but I had a few questions. Did you select only Tesla Supercharger in the Apple Maps vehicle settings? For Plug Type, does it show NACS in the list now or still only J1772, CCS1?
  7. Rear motor death by exsanguination.

How systemic is this problem? Reading this thread has me scared of this happening to my 23 Lariat built around the same time. For those who have experienced this failure, when you come to a stop to get out of the vehicle do you always put on the safety brake or do you just let the truck roll...
  8. TSB 25-2048 / 25-2105: Sync 4/4A General System Performance, Stability, and Intermittent System Reboot, etc. Post #167 updated

This is the one that puzzles me. I have all of these updates done on my truck yet do not see those things in the FordPass app.
  9. TSB 25-2048 / 25-2105: Sync 4/4A General System Performance, Stability, and Intermittent System Reboot, etc. Post #167 updated

That’s what I was going for. Also sorry about that. Sometimes it’s hard to remember that not everybody is in the same headspace and engaged with this at the same level. The post was more for those who actively use the Ford Diagnostic and Repair System (FDRS) to update modules in their truck. The...
  10. TSB 25-2048 / 25-2105: Sync 4/4A General System Performance, Stability, and Intermittent System Reboot, etc. Post #167 updated

What I did get made some significant improvements though. I had the usual DDM and PDM. Normally these don’t seem to make any change, now with the latest code my doors are sensitive and the black lock button actually works in first press. Since I got the truck this lock was hit or miss to where I...
  11. TSB 25-2048 / 25-2105: Sync 4/4A General System Performance, Stability, and Intermittent System Reboot, etc. Post #167 updated

Hope so. There are some bugs in the APIM version I have now. Just finished the GWM module via CAN (hello two hours). I will see if it triggers an APIM.
  12. TSB 25-2048 / 25-2105: Sync 4/4A General System Performance, Stability, and Intermittent System Reboot, etc. Post #167 updated

That may be it. I will give that a go for the next USB-based update. Again, thanks for the sage advice.
  13. TSB 25-2048 / 25-2105: Sync 4/4A General System Performance, Stability, and Intermittent System Reboot, etc. Post #167 updated

I guess I had most of the modules updated, but I do have a GWM one that is underway now via FDRS. Hoping that brings some more stability to my CarPlay connection. None of my USB-C devices would work for it so I opted for updating via CAN do very slow. This happens from time to time where I...
  14. TSB 25-2048 / 25-2105: Sync 4/4A General System Performance, Stability, and Intermittent System Reboot, etc. Post #167 updated

I don't think there is a good political way to do this unless you are buddies with the mechanic. If they kill the battery, you get a new one. It's a waste, but what can we do. It was on the first iteration of that front sensor fix that they killed my battery. I pressed them on it but they...
  15. TSB 25-2048 / 25-2105: Sync 4/4A General System Performance, Stability, and Intermittent System Reboot, etc. Post #167 updated

It is crazy to think that trained mechanics are doing this, but here we are. I was the victim of this on my first service appointment. They replaced the AGM, on my new lightning. The one thing I made sure I did when I started doing my own module programming was to have a high quality, high...
  16. TSB 25-2048 / 25-2105: Sync 4/4A General System Performance, Stability, and Intermittent System Reboot, etc. Post #167 updated

Got my hopes up for a new version of APIM that is not as buggy, but alas all I have are some boiler plate updates available for my truck like, GVM, PDM, DDM, and the ever persistent RFA and ACM. Have the updates been released by Ford yet, or is it still too early?
  17. Issue with driver display "my view" resetting frequently.

Experiencing the same thing. It seems to happen more when both my wife and I get in the truck with our phones, almost like it gets confused.
  18. Driver profile photos can not be set when you have the latest APIM update

Yes this used to be the way. With the latest APIM it is no longer possible as tested with iPhone and Android. Again I have only 1 contact with my name and number. It is the my contact and I can no longer pull it up to use with a profile. Bear in mind I did the exact procedure many months ago...
